Location is perfect, right in the city center, very close to the main square. Parking is available quite near the hotel. The hotel is very nice and modern, always kept clean. the staff is very kind and make you feel at home. Breakfast is very well assorted and they offer you nice coffee and juices. We have been going to the same hotel for years every time we return to trieste for family visits.

Water was only free for the first day Spa was £15 per hour even for guests! Breakfast stools were not comfortable Hot food at breakfast was very limited.

Everything!!! Amazing, charming and cozy little hotel in the heart of Triest! The room was so nice and clean and the bed super comfortable!!

Very nice small hotel in a great location, right next to the port and canal. The room was clean spacious (larger than what I expected from the photo), with a large comfortable bed and an elegant bathroom with shower and bidet. It was very hot during my stay but the AC was powerful and kept the room cool for a pleasant evening’s sleep. Although the location is very central and the street quite busy during the day, it was much quieter in the evening and the windows were soundproof, so all good. The breakfast is served on the ground floor, next to the lobby, it’s a nice bright space with modern design furniture and preserved elements from the old building, such as the stone arches, which I appreciated, being an architect myself. Food selection was good, especially for the sweet things, but they can also make eggs to your preference et cetera. The ladies who worked in the breakfast room were very nice and attentive. Both receptionists were courteous and helpful too, providing restaurant suggestions and printing out some documents for me. Upon departure, they gifted me some pasta made by the family company that also owns the hotel (Borin), which was a lovely gesture.

Not something I disliked per se, only a suggestion for a portable ironing provision such as a steamer. It would be great and really convenient to have the option to borrow such a device from the reception rather than have the house keeping staff iron something for guests upon request. A personal preference, though, as I understand that many people will probably not need this service

it was wonderful. the staff went above and beyond. the room was pristine as were the corridors, reception, bar and breakfast section. the breakfast was delicious. really can’t fault this hotel and wish them every success.

The location is very well placed for the port area, train station and centre of town. The hotel is clean, smart, modern and minimalistic. There are lifts to every floor. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room and bar area beautifully appointed and breakfast is plentiful.

There was noise from other rooms. Both voices and the sound of movement from above. Maybe a bit more sound proofing! Also struggled to get reception on the TV. (possibly weather related)

Very friendly staff - like being in someone's home, not just a hotel. Even the shower walls were beautiful art! Wonderful breakfast in an artistic, comfortable space. Nice location 1/2 block from the sea and close to the main squares. Spa is set up for individual sessions and was really nice. I would stay here again, even though they have some other properties in the city.

Great staff, delicious breakfast, perfect location. The room was small but so cleverly designed that there was space for everything. They had all amenities and comforts we could want. We used the valet parking service which worked out perfectly. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

There is a full wall mirror on the side of the bed. This was disconcerting until I got used to it. But it’s a design decision.

1)Location: exceptionally central. 2)Staff: efficient, willing to help, smiling, professional. They arranged reliable, competitive/ economic transportation to airport, went out of the way to provide breakfast boxes at 4 AM, facilitated our comfortable extra stay when flight got cancelled, provided good advice re: restaurants and all together great attitude. 3)Breakfast: buffet that was very elegant and very good quality (not necessary overabundent or huge variety) with served freshly squeezed orange and cappuccino. 4)Design: new, minimalistic modern, clean spa like, custom designed furniture all consistent with the theme, refined environment with attention to details.5) Soundproofing: worked! We had a quiet room that was very important for us.6) Operable windows.

Suggested improvement: additional storage shelves. Both positive and negative; neg: due to shoulder season, mechanical system was switched to heat and for a couple of days the temperature in the room was too hot (with windows opened was better) Pos: they got the AC back working in a couple of days.
