The hotel guests can use the services of the neighboring 5* Metropol hotel (breakfast, bar, wellness), which was very good. A wide selection, good atmosphere, delicious breakfast, great bar with very friendly staff. The location is very good, parking is also available in a garage. The reception was very nice, we got a room with a sea view, even though we booked a park view. The hotel's beaches are on the beach, separated from the hotel by a park and a road. There were many people there, but we didn't like it, so we chose another place on the beach to swim.

The room was not properly maintained. The walls are stained (paint is essential!), the refrigerator is dirty. The cleaning staff does not do a bad job, but the room is worn out and the guest does not feel clean. It was strange that the blanket was just a sheet without a duvet. The passageway and stairs between the hotel and the parking lot could also use a little cleaning. With a little maintenance, it could be much better.

Renovated rooms with perfect view on sea and marina. Big balcony. Room is bigger than usual, very clean with good design. Good breakfast with breathtaking terrace view on city beach in nature shade. Excellent wellness, unfortunately in basement without any windows or natural light. Good indoor and outdoor pool. Perfect sun beds.

Few minor details. When you are on the outdoor pool you have to go all the way to lobby bar to order drinks. Also there is no tables by sun beds. Scrambled eggs are overcooked and cold. There are infrared heaters for all food, but it’s not enough to keep it worm. Probably there is no problem when you have more guests in hotel.

Hotel Metropol is a luxurious 5-star hotel, while CASA ROSA is an adjacent 4-star property. CASA ROSA offers only rooms, but guests have full access to the amenities of Hotel Metropol, including the reception, swimming pools, spa, and breakfast facilities. This arrangement provides guests at CASA ROSA with a more budget-friendly option without compromising on quality or services. The rooms at CASA ROSA are well-maintained, clean, and pleasantly decorated, offering a great view of the bay. The pools, filled with saltwater, are set in a relaxing environment, perfect for unwinding. The dining experience at Hotel Metropol is based on a buffet-style, self-service concept, offering a wide variety of dishes. There is something for everyone, and the meals are served in a pleasant garden setting, enhancing the overall dining atmosphere. Occasionally, there is live music, which adds to the enjoyment of the meal.

One drawback is the hotel's location on a hill, which requires some fitness, especially during hot weather, to reach the main promenade and beach. Additionally, the hotel does not offer its own parking facilities. Instead, guests must use a nearby garage where parking costs 2 euros per hour or 20 euros per day. These rates are standard for all public garages in the area, so hotel guests don't receive any preferential treatment. The hotel also features a smaller on-premises pool and a larger one across the street. However, larger pool is often overcrowded, making it difficult to find a spot. Guests frequently reserve sun loungers by leaving towels on them, even when they are not present, which can be frustrating for those looking to relax by the pool.

We visited this hotel once more. We were here last year and we were very disappointed. First i want to say that the Miss Katja at the reception desk was more then polite. She was so friendly and helpful from the first minute. The concierge was also very polite and helpful. And there was a older gentleman at the restaurant for the breakfast - he was working like his 30 years old. Old school style. I was very happy to see a person like him. Some changes very made at the facilities like Lounge terrace. And the thing that you can buy drinks and foods once again at the pools terrace at the hotel is a big hit. Room is new. Bathroom is comfortable and clean. Bed was very comfy. Everything was clean. I am glad thet the hotel made some good changes and that the things are getting improved here. We are coming here for 10 years and we were very sad last year because of so many things that didn't function. One more time, big thanks to the staff and keep going in this direction.

The breakfast was amazing. The bed was insanely comfortable. The views from the balcony were lovely and the staff very kind to our children.

It was quite laborious getting between the main hotel and the annexe in the family room with a child in a buggy, involving three different lifts and numerous corridors. It would be nice if there was a more direct step free route. Also be warned the pool is a salt water pool. I enjoyed it but it came as a surprise to my children who were expecting something else.

This year it was my second time using the same hotel and I had a good time and enjoyed the food too their staff and service were amazing. Their outdoor pool is excellent!

I was staying in the Casa Rosa rooms and the cleaning crew for our room did not come to clean everyday they just came to give us a fresh towel and they took the trash out. But as I expect for 4 star hotel and for the price we paid they should be cleaning the rooms every day.

This was a great value stay. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic. great buffets with a wide range of food. The outdoor pool was closed due to bad weather but the indoor pool and the spa were fantastic. The saunas were very hot and there a perfect area for relaxation and to lounge around. We extended our stay by one night as it was relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only issue was the parking, we couldn't figure out where to park and then we realised our van would not fit in the hotel underground car park so we parked on the street and paid for 24hour rate.

Clean rooms and public areas. Large room and bathroom, large balcony, comfy bed, enough space for cloths and belongings. Underground garage for 20€ a day (ticket fee) but hotel front desk has discount cards for 13€ daily parking if available. Large selection of food, fruits for breakfast. In a silent area but yet close to main road, easy walk to the promenade of Portoroz. Bus stop is near, en route to Piran. Nice and helpful staff.

Accessing this hotel annex from underground garage with luggages is complicated. Otherwise all fine, no major issues.

Our room was on the top floor, over viewing the hills of Portoroz. The room was spacious, clean, offered a little tea/coffee station, a mini fridge, a (proper) hair dryer, and basically everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was amazing and the indoor salt water pool, as well as the wellness facilities sublime. I am confident we will be back.

Parking cost us €20 per day, which is something that needs to be taken into account before your travels. There is no near by affordable alternatives.

The room had an amazing sea view and the balcony was very private. Room well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent Location very good and easy to get a bus into Piran

Queues for coffee at buffet very long. Check in slow if you arrive 3/4pm. We were staying in Annex and it was confusing where to check in. Should be mentioned this was a different hotel to the one booked. There is no free parking. Advised by reception to park in a car park nearby for €13 per day. This was like a building site and not a proper car park.
