The hotel is located near one of the best beaches in Slovenia. The view from the balcony was of the sea and Soline. Sunsets were unreal. Near the hotel there is a bar, 3 restaurants, a cafe, a small non-expensive supermarket, a walking trail to Piran and a bike path to Portoroz. Breakfasts were great for a hotel of this category. Everything was tasty and fresh. The choice of food and drinks completely satisfied us. The hotel also has a good bar, which is a little cheaper than those around. Very tasty cocktails! The room was bright, quite large and comfortable. The design reminded me of a children's room. The cleaning was good. We really liked the mattresses. There were no problems with hot and cold water. The air conditioner is very conveniently located and cooled very quickly even at +37. There was a safe in the room. A big plus of the hotel is its own almost free parking. Parkings in Strunjan are quite expensive and there are often no places there in high season.

This place is such a contradiction. Perfect spot, beautiful building, stylish lobby, top-quality breakfast... and then there is children's furniture in the room, the carpet is stained and the towels are more grey than white. That being said, I would return without a second thought. The view from the balcony is to die for!

See above, plus the ridiculous size of the parking places in the covered area. Three cars (as the lines would suggest) obviously don't fit between the columns.

Great & scenic location - super close to many beaches and restaurants too (in walking distance), nice breakfast buffet, helpful staff, clean room, AC, easy parking, bicycle/e-bike renting on spot.

AC did seem a bit moldy - could have used a chemical cleaning it seemed. The room was a bit small, could hear the doors shut at neighbouring rooms quite loudly. I wish there were at least an electric kettle in the room for having a coffee on site (wasn't in the description, so not a real complaint) and having a rope for drying your beach clothes on the balcony and a mosqito net perhaps on the balcony door would be nice touches.

Very comfortable rooms, very clean. Nice and helpful staff. Nice beach around. Well-thought hotel amenities. Good that there's parking available. Generally, very pleasant stay.

The breakfast was good but a bit boring (always the same stuff). The hotel WiFi was spotty. My family had two rooms on opposite sides of the building and in one room the connection was great and in the other one barely working.

Both hotels - Oleander and Lavender are great! Very clean, nice rooms, good location, tasty breakfast, nice staff.. we were here last year and we will go next year as well. Two good beaches are close by. Lot of nice places are 10-15 min away.

I miss fridge and kettle in the room :(

Friendly staff, situated perfectly only 5-10 min. from the beach, delicious breakfast buffet, beautiful 40 min. walk or 15 min. bike ride to Portoroz through former railway tunnel and the astonishingly beautiful Moon Bay is just a 30 Min hike away. If you love nature, you‘ll love Strunjan! :)

The only thing I wasn‘t too happy about was the swallow‘s nests on our room‘s balcony. Don‘t get me wrong, I totally get the nature friendly aspect of it, but it seemed like the swallows were so afraid of us (understandably) that they didn‘t dare to come back and feed their babies while we were on the balcony, or even when the balcony door was open. We didn‘t want to bother them, so we couldn‘t really use the balcony with sea view as much as we would have liked. I would strongly recommend to only give that room to people who didn‘t pay extra for a balcony, during the nesting period of the swallows. That way the hotel wouldn‘t loose too much money and the customers probably wouldn‘t care, I assume. ;)

This hotel is located in a lovely position which is ideal for walking, cycling or as a base to go sightseeing from. It is clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. On top of that it's great value for money - so we've returned here many times and will continue to do so. Thank you!

Very nice hotel with nice and helpful staff. Clean, rooms just big enough for two (I was traveling with my mother). We had twin beds. Beautiful view of the bay, salt pans and hills of Strunjan. Fine breakfast - they alternate fried and scrambled eggs and have sparkling wine. Lots of fruit and vegetables. Parking convenient at the hotel or in the garage. A few steps to the sea, you can alternate beaches. Piran 10 minutes by car. Great holiday!

We missed the small fridge (minibar) and the hairdryer didn't blow much. But these were small things.

Very clean, spacious rooms, plenty of parking. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. A short walk to the Strunjan beach and the excellent Pinija restaurant. The hotel is a very nice option for a short stay.

The hotel is right next to a local road, so during the day and evening you can hear cars passing. At night it was quiet, though, so not an issue. Similarly, the walls are a bit thin and you can hear other guests, but overall it was quiet. I'm a light sleeper, so I usually bring ear plugs, and I slept well here.

Nice hotel, good design, friendly staff, rooms on the 3rd floor are spacious with balcony. Every day cleaning. Very close to the beach.

Sometimes you can hear the neighbours. Bigger cars can only park outside.
