We loved our stay at Second Life Piran. The staff was incredibly friendly, breakfast was amazing and since they also have a restaurant on the ground floor, you should definitely try the food because their menu is just mindblowing. Let's not forget about their rooftop, which you can access at all times. We enjoyed our own little picnic on the rooftop every now and again, so you should definitely give it a go. The rooms are clean and soundproof and the bed is super comfy. All in all, a wonderful place to spend a couple of chill days in a pretty undiscovered gem of a town.

It would've been great to have a full-lenght mirror in the room, just a thought though...

Nice stay in the beautiful seaside town of Piran. Room was small but comfortable, bathroom was nice, bed comfy. Very friendly staff. Breakfast included, a bit limited offering but has the essentials, nice to have overall. Restaurant in the lobby looked nice but we didn't visit. Beautiful rooftop patio accessible to all the guests, can bring your own food/drink up and enjoy the view. Piran is a beautiful town and has lots of nice walking trails looking out to the water. Must visit!

No fridge in the room. Cobblestone path surrounding the building was difficult to traverse with luggage. You can't drive in the city area so you have to park in a parking garage about 20 minutes away, take a city-run shuttle bus to the center square, and then walk to the hotel. Doesn't take long, just a pain with luggage. Shuttle bus is NOT well suited for luggage (don't understand why they don't let you in the back doors), you'd almost be better off walking from the garage. City garage we parked at was also complicated to figure out (take elevator all the way to the ground floor and then walk down the side alley to the shuttle area, not well marked overall but not related to the hotel).

We were warmly welcomed with a glass of champagne, setting the tone for a wonderfully relaxing visit. The staff was super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the old town, just a minute’s walk to the sea and close to everything, yet tucked away enough in a quiet street to feel peaceful. Our room was modern, stylish, and spotless with a very comfy bed. Breakfast is great and has a lot of variety, and you can also ask for eggs prepared different ways and/or pancakes. One of the biggest highlights for us was the hotel's restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic (the picanha steak was excellent), the wine list is great, with a wide variety of local and international options. It’s well worth dining in, even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

value for money in the middle of the historical centre Amazing, extraordinary breakfast. I spent about 60 nights a year in hotels and this was one of the best breakfasts I had in some time. Reasonable choice and superb quality on a very compact table in a small hotel. Amazing and for me one of the most important things in a hotel. If I stay again in Piran, the breakfast will be the reason I come back to this hotel.

nothing really major, elevator was slow, so I rather used the stairs and the room was slightly on the smaller side, but I couldn't care less about any of those things

We spend one night in this Hotel as one of our stays of a multi-day Bike-packing tour. The hotel is actually in a very good location in Piran, being in the "second row" - it was calm and silent, no mess of people. The building is totally renovated, looks brand new from inside, digital key system is really practical. The entire Hotel has a very positive vibe and energy, the employees are super-friendly and helpful people. I have to mention/emphasize the quality of the restaurant: it has been exceptionally good! Worth booking a table for dinner, worth every cent! Breakfast, same thing! Excellent choice, fresh baked Breads, fresh and high quality food with a good variety - no junk. The room was also very nice, romantic and cozy. I can only recommend this Hotel to everyone! Thank you Second Life Team for the great experience! Sandor

Very comfortable rooms and helpful staff (we had ebikes that needed to be stowed). The breakfast is wonderful with the best-ever scrambled eggs and an amazing selection of food choices. Notable was the effort put into NOT using plastic everything. Jam, butter, smoked salmon - everything portioned was in little glass jars with lids - zero plastic in the buffet. No little packages as debris on the plates. Excellent evening restaurant. Very comfortable rooms and a short block to the water on a quaint interior street.

Very nice stay. Hotel is very good. Clean and comfortable. However personal approach of the owner along with the perfect dining and wine made the difference. Very good and variable breakfast to complete the picture.

Nothing to be mentioned here. Please note that Piran is protected city thus you can not drive-in to the hotel so if you have bulky luggage then ask for the transfer from the parking.

We walked in and didn’t realize that it was also an amazing restaurant and wine bar! Bonus!! Host was great. The walk from the bus that drops you off at the plaza was difficult dragging luggage. Take the path along the ocean road it is much smoother. Room was cozy but comfortable. Location was amazing for watching sunset. Literally a 30 sec walk to the seawall. Now the restaurant. Best food we had all vacation. Truffle pasta perfect and my wife had the beef which was cooked perfectly. Tasty and filling with the waiter recommending great local wines. Overall very happy we came across this property.

Room was a bit warm but was told the heat had been turned on due to it getting cooler out since it was October.

Great location, fabulous breakfast and serving, kitchen and cleaning staff were excellent!

Manager didn’t seem to know the property well. Put couple in the smaller room, single in larger accommodation and charged all local taxes to single guest in spite of couple making original booking and payment for both. Also, disappointed with rooftop bar. Extensive wine list, but not pouring either of first two selections and only offered much higher priced wines as uncorked. Chose beer! Rooftop should be accessible for all guests to enjoy for reading, lounging…rather then being run as a profit center solely.

The location was very good. It is very modern and renovated. The rooftop terrace was very nice for an evening glass of wine. We ate at the attached restaurant for breakfast-the buffet is extensive and includes cooked to order eggs. We also had dinner there: it was one of the best meals we’ve had on our trip by far! The food was great quality and very well prepared: the service was attentive and spot-on. It’s a wonderful place to stay!
