What a marvelous place! Everything was perfect. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly, ready to help whenever needed. We felt extremely well and barely wanted to leave the apartment ;) It is so beautiful and stylish. The big living room where the breakfast takes place also has a big balcony which can be used by the guests. We also had the luxury of a small balcony directly in our room. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The location is just perfect, right at the boulevard, with plenty of restaurants and shops, but much less tourists and still in a walkable distance (15-20min) to the main attractions and a shore. If in Trieste we will definitely come back here. It was so good I almost don't want anyone else to know about it haha

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lion’s Den B&B in Trieste. It’s perfectly located for walking in every direction to explore the City and for enjoying the restaurants and nightlife. We parked nearby in secure parking and had no problem walking to the B&B. Cristian was a wonderful host, welcoming us with a homemade breakfast and many good suggestions for things to do. We slept so well each night and had hot showers each morning. The warmth and personality of the property. We appreciated the comfortable community living room and dining space with balcony for relaxing, reading or trip planning. Thank you Cristian! You’ve made a beautiful, warm, welcoming accommodation in Trieste!

Fantastic location, great breakfast (the homemade pizza and bread were delicious) and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!

Would have been nice for someone to have been available to welcome us at check in time, and our room wasn’t available until after 4 pm, but the written instructions were very clear and we had no problems accessing the property and were able to leave our luggage. The lady who served us breakfast was also absolutely lovely

Everything was just perfect, the host’s clear indications to get in and all the informations about Trieste, the whole place is amazingly well decorated, the room is clean and pretty, the beds very comfortable, the breakfast homemade and delicious, the host is present at breakfast and very helpful to organize the day’s visits. We loved our stay at the Lion’s Den and truly hope to be back someday.

Magnificently designed B&B with large common area (where excellent breakfast is served by the host) and spacious, comfortable rooms. You can sense that much thought has been put into every detail. Our room had a small balcony looking out a more quiet back street and much needed air condition. Perfectly located within a pedestrian area with many cafés and restaurants, yet only a few minutes from a nearby parking garage.

We only got to experience the breakfast once during our 3 day stay. First day we were late in from the plane and missed it and 3rd day we had to leave for a plane super early. We missed the directions of how to get in because we didn't have the internet, so that was not fun. Once you get it, you're OK. We would have loved to have stayed longer. We were there to see a musical and it was right near the B&B so that was excellent. You are right on the main street that everyone shops and dines at so that is great. Lovely city.

It's a little strange having people next to you and you don't know them and you might be making noise unknowingly. Otherwise all good. Just make sure you get to the breakfast and be hungry!

I had not read the description closely and had not realized there were more rooms rented out to other people so was a bit taken snack when I found there were 3-4 other rooms being rented out. However, we never saw the other people except at breakfast. We are traveling by bicycle and carried some food However, the fridge was full of owner's food so no space for ours. No big deal, but food not understand how breakfast was created.

Cristian is an excellent host. This is well-designed and pleasant place to stay, with very comfy beds, large bathroom and tasty breakfast. It's on pedestrian zone and parking is quite close. Bottom line: total recommendation for city explorers looking for a quiet place to rest.

The accommodation corresponds to the photos; we felt like coming to visit home from old friends. Access to the room was easy, with a code, sent via WhatsApp. The location was excellent, you immediately feel the pulse of the city. In the street of the accommodation there are many restaurants with a varied offer. Cristian was a very friendly and responsive host who provided us a lot of interesting information about access, parking options and the possibilities to experience Trieste and its surroundings. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

breakfast was excellent, staff and owner friendly and very helpful, location very good, easy access to shops, restaurants and sight seeing. highly recommend staying here. overall an excellent choice. very unusual and classy rooms, dining room luxurious and comfortable.

adding a chair(s) in the bedroom would have been a bonus. nothing to dislike.
