This is the only review you need to read. As someone who has traveled extensively and stayed in countless hotels, I can confidently say this one stands out in every way. It didn’t just meet our expectations – it exceeded them in ways we never imagined! Room 21 is an absolute masterpiece. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the design of the room was tasteful and luxurious, and every single detail seemed to be carefully curated to create a perfect ambiance. The entire hotel reflects this same attention to detail, with high-quality furnishings, warm tones, and a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home – but elevated to the next level. And let’s not forget the in-room jacuzzi and sauna – pure indulgence that added incredible value to our stay. However, what truly blew us away was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. From surprising us with a birthday cake to accommodating a late check-out, offering complimentary coffee, and even delivering wine glasses and a bottle opener (complete with complimentary bread!) to our room, every gesture made us feel special. Every team member, from the warm and welcoming manager, Mr. Jakob, to the attentive waitstaff, played a part in creating an unforgettable experience. The location is ideal, parking is seamless, and the entire stay was effortless and stress-free. Exceptional cleanliness, fresh aerated room, no smell, no dust. Vanity set and other nice little Details. Breakfast was nice, I would suggest a little more fruit salad mix variety, but this is just my taste. Amazing breakfast space. The location is amazing. Free electric charger for electric car was available. The stuff was extremely kind and thoughtful, they asked if we need something upfront etc.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Unfortunately, it does not have its own parking lot. The best parking lot is about 400m away. Since the parking situation in the whole city of Izola is rather difficult, I found this to be a very good alternative, which was also communicated by the hotel. The breakfast was not luxurious, but still sufficient. The room, on the other hand, was fantastic, very clean and large. The hotel manager was very accommodating and helped us with every question. The rest of the hotel team were also very friendly.

Not that we needed it, but I didn't notice any wheelchair access. Maybe they have a portable ramp or something similar, but it's better to ask beforehand.

Everything was excellent! Being greeted by Nina at the entrance of the hotel was already a great start and it just got better. The hotel is small with a very caring and attentive staff, who go out of their way to meet your every need. Breakfast was great: lovely fresh croissants, cold meats, bread, cereals, nuts and scrambled eggs and pancakes on request (included in the price, not extra). Add fresh orange juice to that. The room was spacious, very clean, modern and well equipped with electrical sockets. The electrical outlets also have a USB C and USB A socket. Minibar is well stocked and the water is free. Location is very good, just five minutes from anywhere (the coast, a fabulous bakery, etc)

The only negative is that I can only give a score of 10/10, even though the property deserves much more

The staff were so helpful, guided us to every restaurant, and each was amazing. The central location, the amazing breakfast, excellent wine and cocktails. Very quiet comfortable room with super air conditioning. The added comfort of a jacuzzi and sauna was super. Evening wine night cap on the outside terrace in the heat of a balmy evening was always the perfect way to finish an Izola Day.

Nothing, it was more than we expected, only 2 years old and everything is shiny new.

This is just the best place to stay in Izola, absolutely fantastic. The place is modern and nice, rooms are pleasant to stay in (especially bathrooms) the host was extra helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was also very very good. Awesome work, keep it going!

Would be nice to have a tea kettle in the room. Or in a common area.

Remodeling was amazingly done. We loved the room. Great breakfast and super nice hosts. Hope to be back

Outstandingly friendly and supportive staff with a family vibe who gave us sightseeing tipps at length. Breakfast on the terrasse under the trees is such a nice start of the day. The rooms are very modern and look great. There is attention to detail everywhere. Highlight is the soft jazz music that greets you when walking the hallways. We loved it there!

A nice place with very good standard and friendly personel.

The air condition/ climate regulation system was in heating mode. It was +25 c in my room when i arrived, and i was not able to adjust temperature down to +20c. Way to hot for me to sleep well, and a poor way to save energy…. The next day i got another room with rooftop window. Then i was able to adjust temperature by opening the window. I think the climate regulation system did not work as planned.

All the staff were very welcoming and attentive. They made sure you were looked after and went above and beyond to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel. The only thing that I would say was missing was a potential gym but I appreciate this can be challenging for a botique hotel.
