Lovely hotel with very very friendly staff. The reception staff were amazing and very helpful - made a very memorable stay. We were celebrating and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. The private spa area was amazing and well worth a visit! Restaurant was very nice as well. Great location and parking available either on site, or a short drive away which the reception team will take you too - very convenient.

Only comment would be we didn’t choose a room with a view which we would have done in hindsight. Also there is no fridge in the room & the room we were in was quite small - next time we would 100% upgrade.

My stay was beyond luxurious. You guys went the extra mile to make my stay a dream come true. The room was spotless with an amazing view of the sea. The  staff was beyond helpful. Everything was just 👌. The Micheline restaurant was a culinary experience I will never forget. Again, thank you for everything and a special hug to Jacob, who made sure I got the right bus to Lljubiana. Bless you all, Agustina Cámpora 

Nothing. Again, the staff was beyond any past experience I had in any four hotels.

The hotel is very well placed in the harbor , in the most beautiful area of Izola. It is close to everything. People are great, very helpful and well intentioned. Good breakfast and clean rooms. Great view.

Unfortunately the hotel has a problem with the air condition... it does not work/ cool properly and this makes it very difficult to stay in the rooms during the hot days. The hotel is quite expensive for the area, but considering the fact that there are very few accommodation options (and none at this level) it makes it a good value for money. The restaurant, although it is a Michelin one, hasn't have the quality of food expected (but it could be a subjective point of view).

The staff at the Marina Hotel are always very helpful and friendly. The dinners are amazing and the way the tables are placed means you can easily hold a conversation with another couple or a single person. Important when you are travelling alone. The boat for Piran left from the quay just outside the hotel which was perfect. I came last year in a group so knew I was going to enjoy my stay.

There was nothing I did not like. It was all very satisfactory.

Marina Hotel has a perfect location very close to the beach and with a fascinating view on the harbor. The breakfast was various, the restaurant is outstanding also for lunch and dinner! The room was tidy, quiet and comfortably large with a balcony. (My request of a quiet room was fulfilled.) The staff was also helpful and very kind. We had no issues with the parking.

The room was very clean and the staff was super friendly. We loved the breakfast buffet and close distance to the sea and many restaurants. If you travel here with a car you can easily go to Trieste or Piran for a day which was amazing.

The parking situation is a little tricky. There are 24 spaces for 48 rooms which is not enough. Additionally the restaurant guests can also use the parking which meant that one day we didn‘t have a spot and needed to leave the car in public parking.

Hotel location was excellent, as was the staff,also the premises, SPECIAL MENTION TO THE RECEPTION MANAGER ,MYA(MIA)who very kindly upgraded us to a wonderful room,in all our travels and hotels we have stayed in this hotel and it's staff provided us with everything we wanted when we required it,over all we give this hotel and staff 10/10,Thenk you so much Mia

Absolutely nothing

The location of this hotel was wonderful! Comfy and clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff. Very satisfying breakfast, with lots of variety.

The restaurant despite being a Michelin and for that reason very popular and a certain price, they didn't offer many alternative options for vegetarians. Not all those dishes advertised were available, and service here did not always remain the same standard for the entirety of the night as it became busier.

Hotel Marina was lovely. It was in a superb location just at the end of the pier, walking distance all around. The hotel is really beautifully decorated and was very comfortable.

The only thing to note is that during the busy period between 7pm-12am you cannot drive on the street where the hotel is, so you will need to park at a different car park (cheaper, but about 5-10 minutes walk away). Didn’t bother us at all but worth noting if you have mobility issues.

Nice modern rooms and they have an excellent chef at their restaurant. The rooms that overlook the marina are the ones you'll want. The morning buffet was plentiful and nice selection of savoury and sweet.

It can be challenging to park and you pay for the hotel parking but this was a common theme traveling around Slovénie. The sound of plumbing from other rooms can sound like someone is showering in the room with you. Other than that, it was a positive stay.
