The room was very nice – spacious, with high ceilings, clean, and comfortable. It was located, as booked, in the adjacent building, 50 meters from the main one, and separated from the salt pans and the sea only by a road, which wasn’t very busy at this time of year. A delicious breakfast was also available in the main building.

The room had a charming little terrace facing the garden side, but it was located just below a cliff, which made the room quite dark. While this is probably fine during the summer months, it’s not ideal at other times of the year

Second time here in two years and it's all still as good as it was. Awesome location, great breakfast, rooms are clean and comfortable and staff is friendly. The sea is just across the street, plenty of options to bike and hike around since you're in the middle of nature. Bigger towns of Portorose and Piran are 10 minutes away by car and can be easily reached by bus or bike.

What would make the place perfect is to have mini-fridge in the room so you can keep drinks cool.

( They charged us with some extra to get a room with sea view.) * The air conditioning was crucial because we had days with 38 celsius degree sometimes. * The electric window shades was also beneficial * The size of the room was great. * The quality and the quantity of the breakfast was also great. * The employees were professional and very attentive. * The room was clean.

* There was nothing that we did not like. * It was a really pleasant experience. * We plan to go back in the future.

Hotel is easily accessible by car. It is located between two beaches with bars/restaurant and offer its guests bufet dinners in nearby hotel. As the hotel is rather small you can enjoy personal contact with employees, who are really nice, friendly and forthcoming. I strongly recommend booking room with sea view, as the other side of hotel faces a very close hill. When you are there, you definitelly should rent those electric cars and drive it up and down serpentines to Piran. Rental price is fair considering how much fun was to drive it. Overall, very good value for money, I can only recommend this hotel. Some reviews mentioned unpleasant smell coming from salt pits in front of hotel, but there was no funny smell during our stay, actually we saw crabs in that water, so it has to be clean.

Not every room is fitted with fridge/minibar, yet variety of alchoholic drinks and cold beverages are served at reception for reasonable price

Wonderful and very helpful staff who go out of their way to help! There is a lovely city beach 10 minutes walk past the salt pans. Decent breakfast, comfortable beds and clean rooms.

The main building with reception and breakfast buffet is a 3-minute walk. They charge 10 Eur per night for borrowing a baby crib, which is ridiculous considering the already high price.

The hotel had a great location, the staff were incredibly friendly, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the view from my room was stunning.

The carpet in the room felt a bit outdated (though it’s not really something that can be changed easily), and the TV being positioned to the side of the bed made it awkward to watch.

Peaceful place in Strunjan. I had a room to the rocky wall, and therefore quiet. Room and bathroom clean. Space enough for two persons. Rich and qualitative breakfast.

No mosquito protection on the window. Weak (almost no) wifi signal in the room. A little underplanned parking place: approximately 40 rooms, but only about 20 parking places. Night lamp on only one side of the double bed. Only few wall plugs.

Very good location for relax, trips around and swimming. Hotel is nice and same as on photos. Bed was very good for sleep. Buffet breakfasts were from 17th September in next building Hotel Oleander, just few steps and great choices fruit, vegetables, eggs, cheeses, hams, cereals, jogurt, marmelade, butter, honey, pastries, cakes and more.

Just one thing, walls are thinner so sometimes could be heard slamming doors.

Great location, amazing sea view, 2 nice beaches few minutes away, very good and tasty breakfast with a lot of choices, nice room with absolutely perfect and comfort bed (we have slept like a baby:)). Staff was also very good and helpful.

Sometimes it was hard to find free parking lot. No electric kettle or small fridge in the room (no big deal, but this could be nice to have in every room)

The location was great and the breakfast amazing.

We were given a different room than we booked. We had booked the renovated room with a sea view, but were given an old room claiming that this was and upgrade. The old rooms have a carpet and a very small tv. No kettle and no fridge.
