Volveremos. The location is very convenient, close to Tubigon port. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it had both air conditioning and a fan. The pool is perfect for relaxing, and we were also able to rent a motorbike for 600 pesos a day to explore the island. The best part, without a doubt, was the kindness of the owners, Ruudies and María, as well as all the staff. We especially want to highlight María: always attentive at breakfast, sharing her knowledge about Filipino cuisine and culture. After a morning conversation about sea grapes, that very same evening she surprised us with an incredible seaweed salad and breaded pork. A wonderful and unexpected gesture that made our stay even more special.

The only minor detail is that to use the bathroom we had to go down one floor, but it didn’t affect at all the overall great experience.

When you arrive in an unfamiliar place and quickly feel at home, you realize that your holiday choice—initially daunting due to its unfamiliarity—is one you won't regret. Rudi and Maria proved to be wonderful hosts. Although it was our first time celebrating Christmas away from our family, they ensured we had a truly enjoyable experience. Their attentiveness was remarkable, consistently offering to serve us, suggest places to visit, and assist with transportation around the island. Thanks to their efforts, our vacation was nothing short of fantastic. We are deeply grateful for their warm welcome and hospitality.

Amazing Stay at a Perfect B&B on Bohol! We had an absolutely fantastic time at this Bed & Breakfast! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the incredibly kind Hosts Maria & Rudi. They truly go above and beyond to make sure their guests have everything they need. The rooms were spotless, and the entire property was exceptionally well maintained. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast (even vegetarian or gluten free if you ask for it) – the perfect way to start the day. Another highlight was the scooter rental, which made exploring the island so easy and convenient. The location is also a big plus! Just a short 15-minute drive from Tubigon Port, it’s super accessible. And after a day of adventure, relaxing by the pool in the evening was just perfect. Overall, this place exceeded all our expectations. If you’re looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-located stay on Bohol, look no further. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay, we were lucky enough to stay in the new chalet which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We also enjoyed being able to use the communal bar area to eat and relax in. Rudy and Maria were very welcoming and checked in with us throughout our stay to check everything was ok. They helped us with scooter hire as well as food and activity recommendations, always very helpful and happy to provide advice. On the evenings we didn’t feel like eating out they also kindly ordered takeaway for us too. Great location for exploring all that Bohol has to offer!

Casas de Ruumar isn't just a bed and breakfast, it's an experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by the attentive hosts. They were always on hand to offer advice on local attractions, recommend fantastic restaurants, and even helped me organise day trips and airport transfers. Their attention to detail was incredible, ensuring every aspect of my stay was seamless and enjoyable. The accommodation itself was pristine. Everything was clean, high-quality, and readily accessible, making me feel instantly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts even went above and beyond, offering to cook a delicious homemade meal and ordering takeaway for me after a long day of exploring. The beautifully maintained grounds were another highlight. The swimming pool was sparkling clean and inviting, and the lush plants and tidy garden added to the peaceful atmosphere. This has to be one of the best places I've ever stayed. The combination of the attentive hosts, pristine accommodation, and beautiful surroundings created an unforgettable experience. If it had been possible, I would have definitely extended my stay! I highly recommend Casas de Ruumar to anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious escape in the Philippines.

The owners are super friendly — staying here felt like being welcomed into a family home. The Filipino breakfasts were out of this world — the best food we had in the Philippines! Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The garden is spacious and peaceful, and the fluffy little dogs made everything even better — they’re so sweet and friendly. If you’re heading to Bohol and want a cozy, welcoming place with amazing vibes — this is it. Totally recommended!

Staying here is like staying with old friends. Welcoming from the start, and excellent all the way through. Maria serves delicious home cooking, with the quality of a five-star restaurant. Rudy and Maria will do everything to make your stay pleasant and successful. I have traveled all over the world, and I have never experienced service of such a high quality. I am already planning my next stay here, and I'm certain that I will come back again and again!

Very homely and a great welcome from Rudie and Maria who open their home to give you a comfortable stay. They have built a restaurant/bar area where the most delicious breakfast was served. The garden is an oasis and the room comfortable. Rudie and Maria organised transport for us and gave us information to help us enjoy our holiday. Very easy to get to the chocolate hills from here and about 20 mins by bike or tuck tuck toTubigon. We even took a local bus to the town one day for pennies. An experience to be had by all.

Rudi and Maria are extraordinary hosts. We were treated with delicious breakfasts, prepared considering our preferences. The cottage is very clean and located at a calm lot, away from the main road. There is nice pool for your free usage as well. If you have any questions, Rudi and Maria are available to help. They will help you with a scooter rental (absolutely reasonable pricing) and hiring a boat for a day trip. Scooter trips around the island, through the jungle and chocolate hills are amazing.

There weren’t nice beaches close to the Appartement and if you’re into diving or snorkeling you won’t have options close by. Although there is a reef you can reach via the boat trip. If you’re vegetarian, your options for dinner in Clarin are limited. Closest restaurants with vegetarian dishes are in Tubigon.

Rudi & Maria your hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful and make you really feel at home! The room was just what we needed, and the outside garden & pool were stunning 😍 Every morning Maria cooked us a fantastic breakfast, we even had to leave early on the morning of departure and she had prepared us some delicious sandwiches to take! All her cooking was very scrumptious, I would stay only for that if I could 😋 They both helped us with everything we needed in Bohol, they recommended us everywhere to go and organised the moped rental for us. They also organised us to do a boat trip out to some of the islands which was really fantastic! They really went above and beyond in making sure we had a lovely stay, even waking up at 3am for us when we wanted to go hike a mountain to see the sunrise 🤣 Thank you both Maria & Rudi!
