The location was right across from Statesboro University. The room was well appointed, clean, and big. The AC worked great. The sink and shower were clean, and they had hot water. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. It included hot items (bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and gravy). They also offered fresh fruit, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, and cereal. They had everything needed to make your own toast, grits, or oatmeal. They had apple, orange and grape juice, as well as coffee and creamers. The staff were incredible and so very accommodating. We'd gotten there early and they actually had a clean room and checked us in. Since our room was at the end of the hall, Cammie (spelling?) told us we could park at the end of the building and come in the back entrance. Then she brought the luggage rack to our room. She was awesome!!

The bathroom door was so large, when opened no one could walk past. Also, when open, the door blocked the refrigerator.

Good location, decent breakfast bar. Quiet after 10pm. I had a room on the ground floor with barrier-free bathroom because available. Loved it. - They have an outdoor pool and a decent fitness studio with sufficient space for floor workout and with yoga mats. NOT busy in the AM! The AC has an in-room remote control, that was nice to turn it off overnight.

My room had no central light switch nor one big light but MANY individual light sources.

Great hospitality from the staff as soon as we walked in/checked in ! Receptionist was great (both at check in & check out) Housekeeping was wonderful as well ! Property was very close to everything, quiet/felt safe. The room was very spacious & relaxing we kept saying we wished we could’ve stayed longer, but will book again.

Wasn’t sure of how to control the air, not much light in the restroom/shower. Normal wear & tear on ceilings & some towels were still stained.

Breakfast was a good as you'd expect. Bed was so comfortable! We requested top floor, so very quiet. Fast elevators, close to everything you'd need. The breakfast area has Costa coffee brewed on demand. Very good! Also, For good coffee lovers, the hotel is about 500 yards from the best coffee shop in town--Three Tree coffee shop.

The location was perfect! Loved that you could walk to local shops and restaurants.

The breakfast looked amazing but unfortunately I am gluten free and vegan and there were not many options for me. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and the instant oatmeal. They did have almond milk but the cereals were not gluten free. The hot buffet could be healthier,the home fries could have been gluten free and vegan if made without cheese.

The staff from the front desk, cooks, housekeeping & maintaince was simply put excellent! Everyone was friendly & more than willing to help if needed. The breakfast variety was top notch, the breakfast hours & amount of breakfast items available was great! Everyone in my family was able to eat items that they would normally eat at home. The hotel & our room itself was clean & comfortable. The pool hours was great we was able to go out & do our planed activities for that weekend & still come back & swim in the pool. Our housekeeper Mary I could write a book about her & her kindness with addressing my family's needs. The hotel was quite even though there was other family's there with small children. We was not disturbed in any way.

Nothing everything about our stay was perfect!

Loved Location, how clean it was, those 2 are my most important things to me oooh as well as good rate. I will absolutely stay here again as I have 2 kids at Ga Southern.

The price was outrageous. I stayed in March for $370 a FRI/SAT night. This past weekend was $690 Now front staff at NIGHT could be a little more friendlier and acknowledge people when they come in, both nights the night time staff was blah.

I had asked for housekeeping to change our bedding when they came to clean due to an accident, and the bedding was not changed. It was not a bad accident so I did not complain about it but just wished they had been changed. I also called the hotel prior to my stay, and talked to a lady who was nice, I told her that I actually had my dates wrong for the hotel and asked if I could come a day earlier, she told me I could and that everything was okay for me to come a day early ! once I got to the hotel they told me that I wasn’t booked till the next day and that there was nothing on file about me coming a day earlier! luckily the man who helped me was every nice and helped me get a open room.

I thought this hotel was very well run and had great, responsive staff. It is extremely clean and the location is great. They also serve a lovely breakfast with real bacon and eggs. I think this is the holiday inn express at its very best.

The check in receptionist took forever to find my reservation. I had to go grab my phone and show her the confirmation number. She also gave me a handicapped room with a king bed but I reserved a room with two beds instead. The check out receptionist was great though.
