Everything. important for those who want to go to the airport from this hotel: you need to take the cotral bus from the station. And buy tickets from there. Only 1.3€. Not everybody in ostia knows that unfortunately.

There was a lot mosquitoes. Be prepared.

This was a very good Italian hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. I traveled with my family, so we saw three rooms, and all of them were of adequate size. The bathrooms were also spacious. The beds were comfortable. Towels were changed every day, and soap and shampoo were provided in the bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. The air conditioner worked well. For breakfast, they offered sweet pastries, which were very delicious. The coffee was also very good. A free beach was 7 minutes away, and other restaurants, shops, and markets were also very close by.

The hotel is awaiting renovation, but many Italian hotels are like this. It's always possible to pay more and stay in a modern glass hotel. This kind of old-fashioned charm actually adds to the romantic Italian atmosphere.

I stayed for the Jiu-Jitsu European Championships and the location was perfect, about 10 minutes away from the venue with one of the scooters, 30 minutes walk away. The staff were great, they were really helpful, on the day I checked out I still had to compete, but check out was at 11:00. They allowed me to store my bags at the hotel despite checking out of my room. Also when I was unable to get a taxi to the airport, one of the staff members offered to drive me to the airport. I really appreciated how kind and thoughtful they were. The room was very standard, but you expect it for the price. It was always very clean though.

It would have been nice to have a thicker duvet on the bed. They only had a sheet and a thin blanket on top. I like to have a nice thick duvet. Also, it would have been better if they had a few more options for breakfast, the fruit juices were a bit watery and they didn't have many options for food.

Hotel Ping Pong in Lido di Ostia was an absolute delight! The highlight of our stay was the fantastic terrace with its breathtaking sea view. Watching the sunset from there each evening, while sipping our favorite drinks, was pure magic and became a cherished part of our daily routine. The breakfast was lovely, with a good variety of options to start the day right. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. The location, right by the sea, is perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the ambiance of the hotel makes it a wonderful choice for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Lido di Ostia. Highly recommended!

I liked the staff, though really only met receptionist as we checked in and when we checked out. When i enqiired re tea/ coffee as we had kettle in the room and not expecting it, therefore had no tea / coffee with me, the receptionist said i could have some from their coffee counter. In fact she made me a coffee. Next day unfortunately we had to hurry off early before our breakfast so never got to experience it. I liked the balcony and sea view of our room but we had thunder and lightning in the evening so didn't sit out at night. All in all a nice one day stay.

The bathroom door did not close shut but we said nothing as only there for one night.

lt was great value for money. good location. Comfy room, bed & shower/wc. No balcony this time despite the promise, but not a big deal. Breakfast will win no prizes, but good coffee. Very good beer & other drinks at very reasonable prices in reception area. Many good eating & drinking spots near.

The Rome hotels tax, which is paid before check-in €5/person not room. A shock. booking.com's claim all taxes included inaccurate.

We spent just few hours at this small family hotel during our long layover last week. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big enough for us and has a large terrace with a sea view. Everything was clean, there are enough towels in the bathroom. Bed was comfy, although we didn't get 2 separate beds as we wanted.

Breakfast was very basic. There is no salt and pepper. There was no AC in our room, but we didn't need it because we just wanted to sleep before our next flight and it wasn't too cold that night.

Despite the humorous name, I found Hotel Ping Pong excellent value for the money. It is not luxurious, but offers all the basic requirements for a very comfortable stay -- even a towel warmer in the bathroom! -- and is in a prime spot right on the beachfront. Breakfast was a basic continental breakfast, but lacked any protein -- I would have appreciated the addition of a few cold cuts or a little cheese -- but this is just a suggestion, not a complaint.

The location of this hotel is simply the best you can get. And I guess in 1968 (when they built it) it was easier to get such a spot practically on the beach and meters from the center. Breakfast is decent and typical for lower category hotels in Italy (and maybe for some higher category too). The property is well maintained, nothing fancy, but clean and everything working well. Staff is very helpful and nice.

My room had only a partial view to the backyard, but for one night during a layover that was not an issue at all, if I was coming for a holiday, I would definitely not be happy. :-)

Hotel is old and requires 'refreshing' but its very clean as well. The rooms were cleaned up every day, together with towels being changed. The view was beautiful and all the ammenities were as advertised. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful

Mosquitos - not Hotel's issue. I left the lights on and windows wide open. Could've thought earlier :)
