I have stayed in lots of different hotels in Manado both cheaper and more expensive than the Aston, and Aston Hotel is my favorite hotel in Manado. While it doesn’t have the superficial fancy vibe of some of the pricier places in Manado and there is no pool, it earns five stars in my book for the consistent excellent standards. Many of the fancier hotels in Manado have a lot of issues ranging from poor cleanliness, poor service, bad lifts, broken room amenities, long waits to check-in, bad air-con etc. Aston Hotel on the other hand never fails to provide comfortable attractive rooms with everything extremely clean and in perfect working order. The staff are all so kind, polite, warm and helpful from the front desk to the cleaners and you truly feel welcomed and valued. I enjoyed the rooms balcony, the clean comfy beds, good value and the fast friendly service immensely. I highly recommend staying here and will absolutely return on future visits.

Our second visit to Aston Manado Hotel, and our Sea View room this visit was spacious and very comfy with a totally different outlook to our last visit and nicely presented and furnished. Once again all the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the facilities downstairs are so welcoming and functional. A lovely hotel which we would stay at again, if we visit this bustling city at a later date . It is beautifully run with wonderful staff .

The only issue is the over stretched carpets on the exits from the lifts on all floors to get to the rooms . It just creates a negative impact, when all the other areas are so lovely .

Very good location, close to the pier, nice choice for people who come back from Bunaken by the public boat. About 30 minutes' drive to the airport (with no traffic jam), but it's better to reserve 1 hour in case of the traffic in Manado city. The facilities of the hotel are very good, although the interior decoration of the room is slightly old, but the room is overall clean and refreshing, and with nice view. Staffs are very nice and friendly. I definately will choose Aston again next time.

We have stayed at this hotel twice. I recommend everyone who comes to Manado to stay here. I had a big problem: I forgot my mobile phone at the Jakarta airport and the staff of the Aston Hotel helped me to contact the offices and the airport staff, and finally my mobile phone arrived at the Manado airport! Unbelievable! The Hotel staff, whom I thank wholeheartedly, especially Marshella and Jendri and Mitha helped me so much, they were friendly, helpful and very competent: for me they deserve 10 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! Without their help and their phone calls and translations I would have lost my mobile phone... forever! The kitchen staff are also fantastic, friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant is really great! Thanks to Andhika, Sherina and Tasya and all the other people witch I don' t know the name😞 I recommend it to everyone and especially the gado-gado! The Holtel Aston is very clean and very well equipped, in short, whoever stays in Sulawesi is still in paradise but better to start with Aston Hotel! Thank you all♥️, Antonella and Elmar

Absolute gem of a hotel. Only stayed for one night but wished it was longer. Comfortable beds. Excellent restaurant. Friendly staff from the general manager to our waitress Stella. Good internet.

Very few restaurants around but it doesn't matter because the hotel restaurant has such a wide menu at reasonable prices. Complete with piano player and singer.

Very friendly and helpful staff in every area of the hotel . Excellent public areas, with lots of grouped seating and space . Very good food in the dining room and room service. A cool haven to come back to, after exploring Manado old town and surrounding areas.

Our room was a little "tired" post Covid, and our bedding needed to be fresher and whiter . The room needed maintenance...curtains , wall scuffs.

Check in/out was smoothly. Easy communication through reception for any case. Mitha is a great person and knowledgeable. She upgraded my room straight away. Thank you.

It was a 3 night stay in total. Last night no coffee or tea refills. Housekeeping was slow to respond my complaint. Finally settled by reception. The aircon was a bit noisy. Near earplugs to reduced. Seems the exhaust isn't working well too. Those minor problems that I can solve. Overall good and will stay again in future.

I felt very welcomed and comfortable ! The team and manager were fabulous. I came here 3 times, as a place to relax and re-charge between Bunaken, Tangkoko and Tumbak. Clean and comfortable room. If I come back to Manado I will come back.

I ate most of the time either buffet or a la carte. Unfortunately most of the time I feel the food was not so fresh. Depending on the items. It was random. Otherwise you could always find fresher items since there are different dishes you can choose from. And also the fact that the balcony don't open. :/ But otherwise nice stay in Manado

Simply fabulous staff - each and every one of them cheerful, friendly and professional. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, most with great views. Separation by floors of smoking and non-smoking rooms works very well. They provide large water dispensers on each floor, rather than individual plastic bottles in each room - I really appreciate that commitment to sustainability.

Some changes in management, which are OK, but I really loved the guy from Bali. I also miss the extensive fruit table at breakfast. But the staff are still the reason to stay here - super friendly, welcoming and professional.
