Everything about Lydenburg Manor was wonderful. The room was very comfortable with a delightfully huge bath and the breakfast was ample and delicious. Whatever I wanted, it was no trouble. Amelia, the host, was so kind and helpful to me, personally and I have no doubt she is like this with every other guest - an utter delight, willing to go the extra mile. Thank you so much for your care, Amelia. If I could, I would give 10 stars! Highly recommended.

The host made breakfast take away packs for us because we were going to leave before the restaurant opened. She was there to welcome and also say good bye to us. The linen and towels were very clean They have loadshedding electric bulbs or globes in rooms as back up. Liked the antique furnisher.

The tiles in the room seems were cleaned with something that left grease-like stains on the feet as we walked bare footed. The dustbins must be lined with plastics. Some rooms must have a fridge, could help. Parking is limited but our 2 vehicles got parking.

Breakfast was so delicious. The place is on the main road, so it is easily accessible. The surrounding is beautiful and so relaxing.

very quiet and nice place, nice and spacious room. We were happy to get some dinner at night but felt a little bit lost at the only table we just stayed there one night, it was obviously one of the better places to stay on the middle of nowhere

I didn't like that Thembi had to work alone in preparing breakfast to serve guests. I think a buffet option would be easier and more manageable

Beautiful little place. I felt it was well kept and enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. There aren't much facilities, but it is Lydenburg and one should expect that. You got more than what you're paying ofr.

It was fit for purpose, only issue was the room had a double bed that could not be split so we had to share a bed lol We were the laughing stock back at the office lol

I loved the services. The welcome and assistance I received when I was stranded. It was a home away from home. Thank you to the wonderful ladies that assisted me Amelia and Sharel, I will forever be grateful for them

Atmospheric main building dating from 1925. Nice Spacey rooms, safe place, great dinner. Ideal place to explore the province and get to Reserves in the neighbourhood.

Very impressed with the standard of service and proactivity. The staff went the extra mile to provide a good service. We were arriving late, so without us asking, Sheryl organised sandwiches for us in the room. She also noticed an issue with the payment (booking had not applied the child discount, but charged a full rate). Sheryl and Zerilda, alerted us and processed a reimbursement super smoothly.
