The hotel is an absolute gem - a little piece of paradise in Calvi, and yet within walking distance of the old town and the port. It is modern and feels fresh, with a stylish and yet welcoming design. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the family room was spacious, the sunsets and views are wonderful, and the pool and terrace are dreamy. The restaurant deserves a special mention - breakfast is delicious (including gluten free bread and cake), and the lunch and dinner menus are really excellent, and specially the various salads and bowls, and my husband loved the pasta dish too. We have two young kids aged 4 and 6, and they loved the games corner, and we enjoyed several family games of dominos and Rummy on the terrace.

We liked everything!

The hotel, the amenities, the room, everything was great, just great. The room is not very big, but well organised with a very comfortable bed and a huge, luxurious bathroom. The room was cleaned every day and otherwise quiet and relaxing. The doors to the balcony have protective electronic shades and the air conditioning system functioned flawlessly. We were looking forward to coming back to the room after a very hot day spend in the sun, on the beach. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and it was a delight to enjoy it every morning on the terrace of the hotel.

We certainly did not appreciate the fact that we were not informed that for parking there is a separate 10 Euro/ day fee. It was worth it but I somehow feel like it should have been included in the room price.

Lovely restaurant (and cocktails), friendly staff, nice room, very well maintained place. 10 minute walk into Calvi, very easy, no taxis required. Very much enjoyed Calvi - old town, beach and beach bars, with mountains as a backdrop. Very enjoyable all round.

The pool is actually really quite small - it was also very busy, and the loungers pushed very close together. The other thing was that the air con in the room goes off if you open the balcony doors - fair enough, but it is very easy to accidentally lock yourself out on the balcony if you forget to turn the handle up before closing! Luckily my friend was in the room! We were given nice towels for pool use but you are not allowed to take them to the beach, which is a shame.

We booked two family rooms. The views from the rooms were ok but the view in the café/restaurant/breakfast area was simply superb! You can sit there with breakfast (not cheap), dinner, or simply a drink. We loved the vibe! Front desk was helpful for different questions, and parking was convenient. Once there, you do not really need a car to enjoy Calvi itself and we walked and walked and walked. It felt safe enough to let our teens roam around by themselves. We enjoyed the coastal walk which starts from a monument located about 200 meters from the hotel, as well as the Calvi beach (about a 15-minute walk from the hotel). Lots and lots of restaurants within a 15-minute walk.

Breakfast was good but felt a bit pricey in comparison with other places. Otherwise, everything was great.

There is one of the most pleasant hotel experiences I have had, small privately owned, great attention to detail on all aspects of the property and service. Lovely welcome at reseption,room was large very comfortable with beautiful view over the bay. Restaurant was excellent with sweating outside on the terrace again with views over the bay. Food was excellent dinner and breakfast. Great place to stay.

There was nothing to dislike at this hotel, they just do it well. Best does not have to be a big brand name or expensive, these people do it at a sensible price in a pleasant casual and comfortable way.

Great spot. Staff attitude is warm and welcoming, not always the case in France. Excellent dinners, especially for vegetarians like me, lovely. Overall I am super pleased I went there. Great place, good value for money.

Not much to dislike really. If I could improve two things, it would be; one get rid of the coffee machine and make people real coffees (like the espressos you make). Those machines are aweful, tho common. Two, scrambled eggs can be better; eggs in hotels can taste very bland - and that’s not pleasant. But these are tiny little things

The Saint Erasme hotel is located some 10 walking minutes from the centre of Calvi with a wonderful view of the Golfe de la Revellata. Staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast offered a wide selection. We enjoyed the big terrace and enjoyed the outdoor breakfast there.

The hotel is located next to a main road and hence there is some noise from cars and motorcycles. The hotel has a sustainability profile but we missed a better selection of organic joices at the breakfast buffé.

We enjoyed so much our stay! Amazing view, beautifully renovated, very well taken care of (it's a family owned hotel, and you can tell they really care for the hotel). Personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is also sustainable (recycling, as paper-less as possible, no single use toiletries). Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the terrace and pool, and with a gorgeous view. The center of Calvi is a little over 5-min walking, but the area where the hotel is located is quiet and peaceful. Very nice to have a QR code to scan so you get all the info about the hotel, the services available, the town and restaurants/cafe's recommendations. If you want to dine at the hotel they serve some simple dishes/salads with local products and local artisanal beers.

If we are really splitting hairs, something can be improved around the breakfast. They are trying to limit waste and offer local options, which is great. You get to choose between "continental" (bread and a croissant with jams) or a "corse" breakfast (cheeses and charcuterie). You get enough food, and it's good quality, but it's a bit flat.

Very nice hotel, deco and breakfast, with friendly staff and nice pool, child friendly. Walking distance to Calvi but still far enough to relax.

AirCon broke the day we arrived and it was too hot to sleep confortably. Day after they bought ventilators to ease the situation, showing their customer centricity. They also offered the breakfast as compentation. Nice gestures all along. The room was a bit small for us ( 2 adults 1 child and 1 baby in a 3- pax bedroom), for next time we would choose a bigger one.

Great views Great location Easy to get to the port and old town and beach. Beautiful seating area for breakfast. Some staff very nice some not.

Absolutely no shade in pool area or seating areas which I find unacceptable. The sun is directly on the outside areas all afternoon. In my opinion the pool area should have umbrellas next to every lounger and some umbrellas or shade in the seating areas. It was mid 30s in July and will only get hotter. Shade is an absolute must in my opinion. Lovely to eat breakfast on the patio area but every option should be included in the 24 euro per couple price. Charging extras for espresso and an egg or fruit on top of that price is ridiculous. Not all rooms are refurbished Ours was very small with only a couple of shelves for storage but was fine for the week. They get funny if you take their towel to the beach. Drinks expensive. Too expensive.
