Great sauna facilities, good breakfast options and very friendly staff (Erika) that can be called upon for anything- vegan options, different bedding, area information, arranging additional lunch packs, etc. The service was great, also providing everyday cleaning. Beds were good quality- slept great. In-house Ski-rental and service on the ground floor. Nice to be able to cross the street and ski down to the first lift taking you up into Giggijoch area.

Not to the fault of the property, but Höchsolden is very high up on the mountain and driving up or down in snowy conditions can be challenging. There is no supermarket- nor are there shops or bars- it’s hotels only. Bus will go for free at 3 times a day, taxis all day and night for about 38 euros.

Erika as a host was really lovely, any questions or request we had were met with a smile. Location as well as parking was so fantastic, you really can be from bed to the top of the slope within 15 minutes. Breakfast buffet was also great!

It was a little bit difficult to eat dinner since we didn't have a kitchen and most of the restaurants in the area require a reservation and/or are quite expensive. But if you drive down to the valley or make sure to check some location in advance it is not a problem. Somehow also, most in the group didn't sleep that well. I'm not sure if it was due to the beds, or the dry air or maybe just being anxious for the slope the next day.

We enjoyed the breakfast, the room was a good size as well with a balcony, the amenities were good as well. Plenty of storage area, the ski depot was also really good. Erika was really kind as well.

I would have loved to have some dinner options at the property, otherwise everything was great. Just a note for anyone planning to stay there, be mindful that the slope that runs in front of Hochsolden is a red one, so not totally beginner friendly, and be prepared to not have many dinner options or a supermarket so you either eat at the nearest apres skis (that is what we did) or you can reserve dinner with set menu (price range 55-89 euros pp) at the various hotels nearby. There is one hotel that offers takeaway pizza though. Also, at the Intersport at the property there are a few snack options and water but if you need more you need to come prepared or go to Solden for the nearest supermarket.

Close to the slopes and gondolas in Giggijoch. Nice view from the balcony. Car can be parked in the underground garage. Erika the host was very helpful and friendly. We had a great winter holiday.

Sauna was cold on those couple days that we tried to use it. Shame since it really has lot of potential.

My room was located, opposite of a servise room. Too noisy when stuff stars a job. Around 6AM. Would be nice if you provide for clients silense for morning time.

Amazing location, service and facilities.. would recommend for anyone looking to make a quick escape for a few days

The breakfast was delicious but didn't have many options to chose from... Nevertheless it was enough and the products were of high quality

They did not notify us that you need snow chains to go to the hotel from Sölden.

The customer service is definitely great in this place, especially since all the work seemed to be done by one person alone (not sure if she was the owner). Good breakfast with sufficient vegetarian options. The spa area is really nice, with two sauna options (dry and wet) and leisure space. On the ground floor of the hotel there is a ski rental shop, again with fantastic customer service. You can activate your ski pass here (super convenient), rent/ buy equipment or leave your equipment for service. Free covered parking was provided, as well as bathrobes for the sauna.

Regarding the hotel itself I can't complain much other than the fact that our room was quite small (but we did not spend much time there anyway so we could live with it) and that our view was a concrete wall (literally). Yes, it was more cheap, but if I would have known in advance I would not book it. Other rooms had balconies or better views but I guess that was just our luck. Additionally, staying Hochsoelden has the advantage of being on the slopes (ski in ski out) but there are almost no restaurants there for dinner. When we were there (Jan 2022), two restaurants were open in Hochsoelden: one that had a 5 course dinner menu of 65 EUR/ person (who eats 5 things for dinner?!) and one that was always full and did not take additional reservations, probably because they were prioritising the people who stayed at their hotel. Taxis to go to Soelden are ridiculously expensive. If you have a car, be aware that the road is not properly cleaned (very surprising for us) and you need chains if it happens to snow. To be honest if I knew all of this in advance, I would have not stayed here. Hochsoelden does not have any convenience store and it really needs to sort our the food problem.
