Great location, just off the motorway. We booked last minute as we were travelling down to southern Spain and needed a rest stop. Very accommodating, would recommend. The room felt clean, and the bed was comfortable. Room was spacious too. Free teas and coffees in the lobby and in the room. Hotel was alot bigger than we thought. Had plenty of places to relax and chill out.

We paid extra for the breakfast after reading many good reviews and felt disappointed. Maybe it was because of the time of year? I personally didn't think the selection was great and I ended up having some cereal and the milk had totally gone off leaving a very sour taste in my mouth. Also too much air freshener used in the room. Too many chemicals, not good. There was a €100 euro deposit for the dog which was fine but could be helpful to state that before booking.

We had a lovely weekend stay at HO Ciudad de Jaén. The hotel is in a quiet area just outside the city, which makes it a great base if you’re exploring Jaén and the surrounding region by car - we even did a day trip to Granada with ease. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a small terrace, which was a nice touch for some fresh air. The bathroom was slightly outdated, but everything was clean and worked well, so it wasn’t an issue. We were traveling with our dog, and it was great that pets stay free (just a refundable deposit of €100, which we got back without any problem). It’s not always easy to find pet-friendly hotels, so this was a big plus for us. Overall, a quiet and convenient hotel, ideal for a relaxing weekend if you’re exploring Andalucía by car. We’d happily stay here again.

A bit of smell in the room.

The whole building really has the wow factor. Our room was a great size with twin beds and a generous size bathroom. As we didn’t want to travel further having checked it, we took advantage of the restaurant, and the food was superb. You’re virtually in a motorway services with the location, but boy it doesn’t feel like that! Tons of free parking - I’m pretty sure you’ll be guaranteed a space. But it can be a long walk to reception… so you can pull in outside the entrance to drop bags and a passenger while you park.

The only negative is that the address given wasn’t recognised by my standalone gps device (TomTom) so we resorted to a phone - not my preferred option on a motorbike.

What an amazing hotel! All the facilities are brand new and state of the art, as well as the design (which make the stay as very comfortable and accessible). The fact they offer 24/7 open kitchen service is a second to none! Needless to mention that the breakfast was great (in terms of variety options) and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It is a classic place for people who wants to stop in the middle of a road trip. P.S. Do not worry about the noise, because they have acoustic walls within the hotel (besides those that located near the main roads). Highly recommended!

Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Hotel, although on the outskirts of the town, was in a good position for road links, especially for touring around the region’s historical sites. Taxi was reasonable into centre to save us driving in the narrow unknown roads. (Drivers were very friendly too and pointed out best places to visit). Plenty of easy access free parking surrounding the hotel. Nice to have kettle in room plus a coffee machine in foyer, free for residents. Two small bottles of water in fridge on first day, plus further available to buy in machines at reception. The restaurant had a decent range of good quality food. Plus breakfast had good variety that was regularly replenished. Everywhere was always kept very clean.

This hotel is perfect place to stay for one night and if you are just passing by Jaen. It's perfectly located close to the highway, so you don'y have to enter to the city if you don't want. Huge free of charge parking place, free coffe machine at the hotel entrance and really friendly reception staff. Although the hotel is older, it is very well maintained. Good quality for the price.

Pool was not opened, so I can't comment that. It's not close to the city, so you need a car to move around. I would not recommended it if you are actually coming to visit Jaen, but it's perfect to stop by on the way to South of Spain. Price changes a lot during the holidays, and I would not recommend to go during the higher season or it should be reserved well in advanced. More because it's not worth of paying more than 80 EUR for night.

The receptionist was lovely and extremely helpful. A kettle in the room! Unheard of in Spain. Brilliant! Free coffee from a machine in the foyer. And good coffee at that. And a water machine. Large bathroom with the biggest rain shower I have ever seen. Very comfortable beds. Fridge with complimentary mineral water. Our own little terrace overlooking a garden. Although the restaurant wasn't open they were serving restaurant type food in the bar. Very nice outside area off the bar area with comfortable furniture and a view of the city of Jaen including the castle on the hill. Very convenient location. We were travelling down from the North of Spain to Granada and wanted an easy overnight stop.

TV reception was very poor in our room. Although free parking it wasn't secure especially as the hotel is in a services by the motorway.

Hotel is amazing, close to the highway and Jaen city center at the same time. There is free parking in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is absolutely amazing!! Great variety of food, delicious. Big recommendation for this place!

Bedsheets could have been a bit cleaner, felt like on of the pillows had perfume smell from previous guests.

We had a junior suite, which was very spacious but not as modern looking as on most pictures we had seen online. Breakfast was alright, in a small room in the basement that wasn't very cozy. It is unfortunate considering how pretty the reception area on the ground floor is. That is not the hotel's fault, but there were quite some mosquitoes overnight

The check-in was easy once we got to the front of a very long queue. The room was very clean, and we had a good view from the window.

The bathroom in our superior room needs to be renovated. The menu in the dining room was very limited. There was no disabled parking close to the front door. We were charged for 2 coffees on the day of departure when we rang and asked for cold milk to go in tea. It was removed from our bill when I disputed it.
