Beautifully decorated and spacious room with possibly the biggest bed I have ever slept in which was really comfortable. Bathroom was generously sized and well equipped. Downstairs there was a really well furnished guest lounge and a smaller library room. A beautiful hotel in a beautiful building, just inside the walls of the old town.

It’s only a small point but the hotel did not provide any water in the room, we asked downstairs if we could buy a bottle of water but there was no facility to do so. After a warm afternoon walking round (no cafes open in February) the lovely receptionist took pity on us and gave us glasses of water from the cooler in the breakfast room. Not a complaint at all, just a warning to bring your own!

Most traveller's are European and drive there We are from Canada and on public transport. The town doesn't actually have a fleet of Taxis so when we left to go to train station at LINARES- BAEZA 10 minutes away they were a little taken aback that we actually didn't have a car but they managed to call a cab from the next town. Our train left at noon and only bus of the day to train station was 5:30pm

They had a full breakfast menu for expensive. We didn't specifically ask for just coffee but it would've been nice Didn't feel comfortable asking... maybe I should have

This was our second time staying at Casona del Arco, and in the same room, the junior suite, which perhaps tells you all you need to know! We thoroughly enjoy staying in that room and I’m sure we’ll return. It’s utterly beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The hotel has no parking but there is a free municipal car park a short walk away. The hotel is ideally positioned for exploring the Renaissance gem that is Baeza.

There was one of those Nespresso type coffee machines in the room but with no choice and no ability to make tea, nor was there any milk. A small detail but we travel a lot and finding a kettle in a hotel room seems to be increasingly common.

Beautiful building in a great location. Our room was very comfortable with a very spacious comfortable bed and a pretty bathroom. The decor throughout the hotel was very attractive and the small outdoor terrace was a great place to enjoy the late afternoon sun. Good WiFi too.

This can’t be taken as a complaint or a criticism, but it would have been good if the hotel had had a bar or even a restaurant.

Good location. Free off-street parking close by. Good facilities throughout, including a small but very pleasant pool. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Our room faced inwards, overlooking the cafeteria. Whilst this wasn't a problem, a window would have been better and we will request one next time.

Beautifully renovated historical building in the centre of the old town. Extremely comfortable room with a view of the square. Quiet and peaceful.

The breakfast wasn’t that great, especially the bread. Some of the staff were friendly, but others not, making our stay feel rather impersonal.

The hotel was in a great location and all the local points of interest where within easy walking distance. We were checked in with a smile, and given directions to park our car for free. The room was lovely and the bed super comfy. A good choice from the buffet breakfast, in addition you could order eggs. Great little pool and sun loungers out the back.

Personalised welcome. We parked at the entrance as they recommended, dropped our bags and moved the vehicle to where they showed us (very close). So parking was no issue. The room was beautifully decorated with good quality linen and a comfortable bed. Room just big enough. There was a decent size bar fridge in the room which was unexpected and great to have. The pool area was stunning. We were provided with lovely pool towels. We could use the same towels a couple of times which was good unlike resorts where they are taken back after 1 use which is an environmental issue. Not much shade though for the afternoon at the pool. Sun Loungers and chairs and little tables available. Fine early evening. We didn't have breakfast there. The dining area looked great. Excellent value for money.

Our only remark is that good Spanish music should be played in the common areas rather than the out of date 90s British pop. It doesn't suit the establishment . 

Great location within walking distance of a lovely centre with loads of restaurants and bars. Lovely to have access to a comfortable lounge. The staff were helpful in guiding us to a free car park.
