Lovely little boutique hotel with loads of character in a quiet area, conveniently located near the centre. Quaint rooms with comfortable beds and modern facilities, all clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent! Free public car park around the corner. We wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately they were fully booked - moved to the Parador nearby, which didn't compare well - double the price and in severe need of refurbishment.

No complaints about the hotel - really nice experience, but we picked a busy couple of days for our stay and finding a space in the car park was a challenge, so avoid fiestas and Guardia Civil passing out ceremonies!

Small family run hotel In delightful Renaissance property facing a quiet plaza just off the Main Street of “ old” town. Free parking close bye but limited free spaces. Part time reception but keys allowed entrance to premises and rooms at all times. Rooms (seen) rather small set around a quiet courtyard and balcony which gave additional space to sit. Coffee machine available for guests in courtyard but often limited pods and no milk. Everything spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Adequate toiletries. Good shower. Excellent breakfast.

Room had no small fridge. Hand basin was in the bedroom space. Toilet separated from bedroom by frosted glass door open above and below.

The location of the hotel is excellent and pretty much in the heart of town, although we did have some trouble finding it. It doesn't have obvious signage outside but if you use the (free) car park that the hotel suggests, then once you've parked, turn right out of the gate and the hotel is only a 50 metres along the road. The room we had (2.4) was beautiful and had the original stucco work on the walls and a glazed balcony with shutters. The bed and pillows were very comfy and the aircon was fab, although the room was fairly cool to say the outside temperature was 38 degrees. The room has a separate, big walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The washbasin is in the room itself. There was also a fridge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean and the hotel has a pretty andalusian courtyard with seating for relaxing. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but if it's as nice as everything else in the hotel then I'm sure it would be pretty good. There are some nice bars and restaurants near the hotel. We ate at Metropolitan La Real and it was superb! Go for the Tacos de Rabo de Toro!

Absolutely nothing!

Beautiful interior decoration in a historic building setting, run by a small & passionate team. Despite our little command of Spanish & theirs of English, communication went well. Big bed with a great mattress, no ‘street noise’ also due to thick walls, so nice & cool in hot summer. Breakfast was splendid, a nice combination of (fresh & dried) fruits, cheese, cold meats, boiled gg, avocado, and huge croissants, etc, served with fruit juice, coffee/ tea, and a fresh drink joghurt. Small fridge & hospitality tray (coffee & teas) in the room 😍.

Centrally located, clean, room was spacious and very comfortable and from the balcony had an excellent view of the square in front of the restaurant. Interior of the hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were extraordinary and went out of their way to help. Free parking was available nearby. Definitely a place to stay when visiting Úbeda.

The temperature hot water shower was very difficult to control so at times the water was either too hot or too cold.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, good facilities for couple, great staff and good breakfast.

Parking is not private but via a public carpark (only 30m away) which can be busy on weekends. Other public carparks are around the town not far away so not a problem really, just a little inconvenient. This will be the same for most hotels in the centre of town. Make sure you have a SMALL car for driving in the town.

Lovely boutique hotel in an old stone building. Hard to believe it is officially rated "one star"!! Quiet location, very central, free parking nearby. Room was spacious with a very nice shower room, double vanities and toilet. Very comfortable king size bed. Breakfast was great - plentiful and healthy. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Driving through Ubeda is a challenge, with narrow one way streets, random road closures and tight parking spots. The WiFi was patchy, but overall this is a lovely hotel.

Excellent location with free parking, which was easy to find, within 30m. Hotel is beautiful internally with traditional features. Staff speak a little English and were very welcoming and friendly, particularly Monica. Our room was on the top floor. It was spacious if a little dark and could be brightened up by painting all the internal wood but I guess that might be a bit too modern. Excellent breakfast served to the table consisted of a wonderful array of fruit, meat, cheese, pastries, juice and coffee. Thanks for the experience, it made our visit special.

Leaking shower, insecure shower head and sky light hatch were minor issues.

I really loved this hotel. Communication both before arrival and during my stay was excellent. It was good that my hosts gave me a free map on arrival and made a few suggestions for places to visit in Úbeda. The location of the hotel is excellent, being just a few minutes walking distance away from the historical centre of town and with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. My double room, with shower, wash hand-basin and WC, was comfortable allowing for the fact that the hotel is a converted historical building. Breakfast, for which I paid separately, was very good. As I'm a vegetarian who occasionally eats fish, after the first morning I just let my hosts know of my dietary requirements and on subsequent days the choice was varied to ensure that I got what I needed. Everything was very high quality and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere in the hotel was cosy, relaxed and friendly. All in all, it was an excellent stay and I can recommend the hotel completely to future guests.

Everything!! It is not without irony that this is a refurbed religious building as this place is nothing short of heavenly. We stayed in a standard double room that was fabulous - modern facilities fused with the beauty of this old building. Exceptionally clean with a fabulously comfortable bed including good pillows 👏 The welcome & help from the reception staff was superb & her love of the hotel shone through. The decor is amazing with fabulous touches around every corner. Breakfast was wonderful with another set of fabulous staff. We loved the upstairs terrace after an evening in the beautiful town of Ubeda. Parking is free & adjacent to the hotel & do not be perturbed by the small streets it is easily driveable. I cannot say how happy we were to have found this hidden gem & will definitely be back for longer. Value for money is phenomenal 👏 🙌 👌
