AmericInn was a pleasant surprise. In more of a rural setting on the outskirts of Cedar Rapids, it was just lovely. Classical music playing in a beautiful lobby and we were given a very friendly and informative reception. We took advantage of the pub for a beer, had a lovely soak the hot tub, and slept very well. This was our best stay on our 25-day road trip across the country. The price was more than reasonable (even for the beer!).

Hotel staff were outstanding! I had gotten a severe head and chest cold when I arrived, and I had to extend my stay for another night. The staff was so kind. They immediately extended my stay for one night asked me if I needed anything and checked on me. It was so kind of them they didn’t have to do that. Very much appreciated.

Breakfast was good, the eggs were a little dry but good. Kids loved the way they had to make there waffle. Had some difficulties sitting together though due to a baseball group that was there at the same time.

First night the staff person at the desk was great, smiling, polite and very helpful. The next day there was a women there that was not so happy but helped when asked. we had to freeze some things and both helped with that but a good attitude goes a long way when dealing with your guests. I feel like you should have some kind of freezer in the rooms.

My son is always happy about waffles and hot tea. The facility was super clean and tidy. It was so pretty inside and out. I definitely look forward to my next stay here. We will definitely be back to this location and other locations in Iowa as well.

I really can't think of anything that could have been better. Except for maybe being able to stay longer, Don't change a think ... except maybe add a pet hotel next door. That would be amazing. Everything was great.

It’s a great hotel with the nicest staff, it’s always clean and comfortable and the room is always ready when I arrive. The pool is clean and warm.

There really isn’t anything I would change about it.

The atmosphere was incredibly friendly! They listened to our special request. It is difficult getting two kids 2 and younger asleep anywhere that is not home, and the staff were very friendly!

I liked the easy discovery of the hotel location immediately off the highway and not far from easy-grab food. Plenty of parking, clean, and easily accessible were appreciated features,too.

Room was very nice. Hot water for shower. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Location was good, right off the highway, but not loud. Motorcycle motif was very tasteful. American Gothic print in room was a nice touch. Homey feeling decor, nice and clean overall. Highly recommend this motel

The property is well maintained clean ,quite ,roomy

Maybe one soft pillow would have made the stay perfect Lots of plastic use at breakfast

In every way you can think of this hotel exceeded my expectations. Is the room a spacious , The bed was comfortable, The amenities were outstanding in the breakfast with delicious. The staff was very helpful and accommodating
