Great breakfast. Quiet during the night. Clean room, including the bathroom.

A $25 fee was applied to our bill (although it was removed from my credit card account a few days later) because I hadn't booked the room directly through Holiday Inn Express. I did not know about this policy until checking in. One more thing - since my wife and I drink considerable amounts of water, the only way to get water at the motel was via the vending machine, for a hefty sum, per bottle. So, rather than pay a considerable amount, we went to a local grocery store and bought a pack of water bottles, paying only a little more than what one bottle would have cost us at the motel. I believe that the motel should not charge their guests for bottled water.

It’s near our son’s home. There is a McDonald’s and a Waffle House very close. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. The hotel is clean. The room and bathroom were modern and clean with very good amenities and linens. The bed was very comfortable. There is a coffeemaker and fridge in the room. The breakfast room is spacious and pleasant with friendly, very accommodating staff. The breakfast was fine with something for everyone. I enjoyed the hot oatmeal(nuts, raisins, brown sugar), so much better than instant.

Good variety of selection for breakfast. Especially liked the coffee brew stations. Comforting to see the welcome message and Bible verse.

Loud noises occurred from other rooms and ours whenever water was turned on or flushed. Rooms had no sound barriers.

The mattresses were so comfortable. The hotel itself was very clean along with the room and breakfast area. The breakfast area also had outlets and was very organized. Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion.

I can't think of 1 thing I didn't like. This place was top-notch.

Staff was amazing and very friendly

Carpet was a little outdated and had some stains. That was the one of the reasons I did not give a 10. The other was it is a little far from everything.

My husband and I couldn't spread the butter on our toast! It was frustrating. There was butter in the refrigerator and packets on the counter but they were both hard. You couldn't get the butter out of the container even with a knife. You had to chip it out in pieces.

When I checked in, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The area was quiet. Breakfast was great (especially the coffee).

The decor, the comfort was great. Everything was just so nice. Love the hot breakfast the staff was outstanding!

I did not like the black mold on the ceiling above the shower in the bathroom. I think if the fan was fixed, it would be better.

Great room size. Comfy bed. The shower speed was perfect. Love those warm cinnamon rolls!

Signs of high humidity in the bathroom, rusting light fixture and flaking paint. The newer calk showing some mold.

Awesome hot breakfast w/ variety of option & automatic pancake “printer” was legit. Good bed/pillows. Quiet & calm. Dove brand bathroom supplies was a nice touch

Only gripe I could halfway make, and it’s really not even a gripe; the towels could’ve been softer/thicker/more plush as well as a little larger.
