Everything! Cosy hidden gem in the middle of Provence, in the lovely town of Carcès. A small bridge connects the town to the B&B which takes 5min to get to the city centre. The beds are firm and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is amazing with a large selection of homemade jams and fresh eggs from their own hens. We got a private of the vegetable garden and got offered to be driven all the way to Les Gorges du Verdon - Claudine and Vanina are exceptional hosts who will make you feel truly special. Bonus point for their own honey-based products they sell, delicious nougat.

One of the bikes was broken when we got there, which meant we would not have been able to cycle together however they offered many solutions including bike rentals in Carcès or even to drive us where we needed to be! Exceptional helpfulness.

This place looks like a Movieset (in a absolute positive way), the rooms are super classy and comfortable. the hosts are so welcoming and are doing everything they can to make you feel welcome and at ease.

We came by public transport to carces. Actually we were under the Impression That it will only take 10 minutes by foot from the village to le bargidou, because google maps told us just to cross the nearby bridge. Unfortunately the bridge was closed, so it wasnt that easy to get to the place. because you would have to walk all the way around the village on a narrow street with no sidewalks:( but luckily our hosts picked us up with a car when we called for help on how to get there. They also rented bikes and flashlights to us, so we could go for Dinners in carces. So thats Something you should keep in mind when you come without a car and trust google maps (as long as the bridge will be closed).

This is a true house of peace, nature and lots of love located in a remote and beautiful place. The whole area is surrounded by vineyards and the house itself is heaven on earth. Vanina and Clo are outstanding hosts - so open and caring and immediately make you feel at home. The accommodation is a true Provence experience mixed with amazing attention to details. Everything in the house and the yard is filled with soul and spotlessly clean and smells wonderful. Kindly choose this accommodation if you want to experience tranquility, human connection, relaxation, great cookies / honey/ jams and nature. If you are the type of person who prefers staying online with technology or is in search of tourist attractions then this is not the right place for you :) The lovely hosts have great recommendations for traveling and dining in the area. A car would be advised. Thank you Vanina and Clo for creating this wonderful space to meet and rest and have an unforgettable vacation!

My daughter and I enjoyed everything about our stay - beautiful and peaceful place in Provence. There was such a beauty about the place and quality of service and we were welcomed. We enjoyed meeting the family members including the little boy Isaac. Vanina and her colleague treated us with wonderful hospitality. The French farmhouse was just so wonderfully designed and comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed delicious breakfast, the gas fired stove in the kitchen, the fresh bread, butter, home made honey, jams and eggs - and a big bowl of cafe au lait. It was just very special being in the south of France for the first time - thank you!

The room was a little cold, but heated up with the radiator on.

Everything was perfect in Le Bargidou. The owner was charm personified, the room was spacious with everything we could need, including a bathtub. The breakfasts were delicious, with homemade preserves, and the surroundings were absolutely idyllic.

The walkway on the shortest walking route from Carcès to Le Bargidou was closed, and the only other way to get there takes some 40+ minutes on foot. It is due to reopen in 2024, though.

One of the best guest house we've been so far. The owners were very friendly. We also really enjoy the old fashion style of the house. Beds were very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast with different choices

A pity that guest house is too far from our place...

Hosts are friendly, helpful. Their home is in a wonderful country setting, full of antiques. Breakfasts are wonderful. Not a thing to complain about.

As above...not a thing.

We travelled as a family for a wedding in the area. Beautiful room with plenty of space and the kitchenette had everything we needed, and was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much to ask of the owners, so friendly and welcoming. Loved the garden, the chickens, the deckchairs and hammocks. We travelled with our toddler and she loved the little tricycles! It was great that a travel cot was provided (looked brand new!) and when we came down to breakfast the table was set beautifully with a highchair in place.

The location is beautiful and remote but just in case others have looked on google maps and thinks it is possible to walk to the village centre, it isn't! We found the bridge is closed, no longer usable, and had to drive, but it is a short journey and the parking is free.

Everything! This is a fantastic place to stay with amazing hosts. We were made to feel at home straight away and were accommodated to with our children. Even when our flight was cancelled they did everything they could to help us which we are very grateful for. The house and gardens are beautiful whilst the room is comfortable and clean making your stay enjoyable. We could not recommend this place and the hosts enough!

We loved everything
