Excellent location fonvisiting Gorge Verdon. We spent a week there, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is 20 mins drive from the gorge, with less touristy routes in that area. The hotel staff recommended some memorable and picturesque hikes. The hotel itself is very comfortable. We stayed in the villa, and it felt like home. The living room was incredibly cozy, with a comfortable sofa, local lighting, and antique furniture that was in excellent condition. The engravings and paintings throughout the house were all authentic, which gave the whole place a wonderful character. The entire house was spotless and cleaned daily during our stay. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was very convenient, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The only thing we weren’t completely happy with was the breakfast. We couldn’t order hot dishes, like eggs or porridge, and all the breakfast options were served in small glass containers, which kept everything clean and fresh.

The location was lovely with nice views. Comfy bed and nice to have a private veranda. The hotel was lovely with a heated pool and tennis courts and helipad for jet setters. Nice gardens. Excellent food, at a price. Did not have breakfast but am sure it would be good. Quiet. Good wifi.

Room service was not the best. No complementary bottled water. Coffee was complementary but not replaced unless you asked. Also no kettle or teas unless you ask, again not replaced. No mugs. The liquid soap in the bathroom was broken so mentioned this and it was taken away but never replaced. Robe I used for swimming was torn so I put in shower for replacing but again had to ask for another as it was not done automatically. (It was replaced with the same one.) One bedside reading light was loose on wall and did not work although they are so out of charater with the rest of the room I'd get rid of them. Shower head could do with being replaced as could the rather cheap and loose toilet seat.

The room was fabulous, food phenominal plus lovely staff. All was calm in the magnificent setting. Loved being able to have a little go on the piano in the evening. A lovely couple moved inside and wanted me to play more but it was quite late by then!

My husband and I wanted to enjoy a swim before breakfast as it was our last morning kept watching for the pool maintenance to be completed. We went down to the pool at 8.30 so it wasn't that early. waited till 9 onwards but still wasn't finished.

The 4-bedroom apartment was located away from the main hotel building and was surrounded by a beautiful garden with a private pool (we didn't use it because it was still too cold), barbeque, and many places to sit and relax. the kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed cooking full meals for 6. The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom had a bathroom. The living room with a huge sofa allowed us to enjoy our evenings together as a family.

1. We bumped up in price for a junior suite and the room was beautiful. Recommend that you pay a bit more and do this. 2. Good carparking 3. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room were very welcomed

1. Agreed with a lot of folks about the restaurant onsite. There needs to be another sort of menu as the one presented is too high-end and expensive to eat every day. We went out to eat more so due to this in the surrounding villages 2. Pool not heated and no menus nor obvious servicers to take orders 3. Did not like breakfast presented. We tried it once but not enough fresh fruit, or breads

Very good ambience. Small hotel and good rapport with other guests. Good sized pool and availability of loungers. Very friendly reception staff. Peaceful setting. Very friendly hotel cat. Nice views.

As we were staying for six nights, we found the restaurant menu very limited. This was especially the case for the childrens' menu. On the same theme, the same 'amuse bouche' snacks were served with every meal. It wouldn't have been difficult to vary these, as is the case in most restaurants. The bar staff were notable by their absence, especially in the pool area. I am sure the hotel could have made a lot of money had a server passed by the pool and through the common areas from time to time to see if guests needed drinks. I was not inclined to go off searching for someone to serve us.

The room was fabulous, the breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff were lovely. Front desk was very helpful when there are several errors showing on our final bills.

The hotel charged 8.5 euros for adding a baby crib, which was unexpected and not mentioned in the hotel rules.

The property is amazing and superbly located in Provence; the facilities are great and the staff overall very helpful! The garden is beautiful even though it could be better maintained.

The restaurant is outrageously expensive with poor service due to the lack of staff; the menu does not change and does not permit any flexibility which is quite awkward for such a highly rated restaurant. This is a real shame, as we had booked for 6 nights and finally had to look for outdoor dining which is not what we wanted!

I love the classic Provençal style of the hotel. The restaurant was excellent for diner and breakfast. The garden with pool very nice. Our room had a large terrace. Staff could not be nicer.

There were no hooks in de bathroom for a bathrobe or clothes.

Great Bastide with nice rooms, beautiful terrace and pool. Personnel at the front desk as well as the waiting staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was awesome with a wide variety of choices.

Although it was supposed to be a great restaurant the food was just OK. To top it off, the service was excruciatingly slow even by french standards. It took us over 3 hours to complete our 3 course dinner! I understand they were short staffed but waiting half hour for water is a little excessive. Hotel was a bit remote.
