The room was comfortable, as usual, and the hotel gave us the room we asked for (facing the street). We chose this hotel because we have stayed there many times before.

The only reason I rated this stay as "good" and not "excellent" is because it has become somewhat complicated to get fresh towels, coffee, etc. after the hotel stopped providing daily room service. Now you have to ask for these items at the reception before noon. There is a sign on the reception desk explaining the new rules. However, we had to wait for the dry towels and other items to be brought to the room. We could have picked them up ourselves, but were told at the reception that they were not available there. Otherwise, it has always been a perfect stay and Ambassadeur has been one of our favourite places to stay in Quebec City or nearby.

I like that it was a fair price and good location, relative to our planned activities

The shower was too small, even though there is enough space for a larger shower. The air condition was too loud—it sounded old and in need of maintenance. The price of water, at the vending machine was ridiculously high. The onsite restaurant was convenient, but the service was horrible. The waitress was inattentive, forgot multiple parts of our order, didn’t apologize for her errors, and generally seemed indifferent/unfriendly.

We loved the rooms and the pool. We also loved the fact there restaurants within walking distance. The pool was incredible and provided hours of fun for the kids and the adults. The drive to city was not short and easy. The parking was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

This is not really what we didn't like but rather what could have been better. The hot tub in the pool area had no way to control or even turn on the jets.

No ceiling light. Lighting achieved using lamps, there are at least 3, but you have to use all if you want to have enough light.

The hotel was very clean and easy to get to. My daughter loved the pool and splash pad. They were both very warm. The hot tub was great. The beds were very comfortable.

There were only minor things I didn't love about this hotel. First was the shower. It was very slippery, and there was nothing to hold on to, and the shower curtain easily fell down as it was on a pressure mounted rod. The air conditioner worked great, except it continued to turn on and off all night, waking us every few minutes. There may be a setting I wasn't aware of, but I couldn't figure it out in the middle of the night. Other than that we were very happy with this hotel!

The rooms are nice, clean and confortable. The staff are really nice and professionnel. The restaurant is quite good. The swimming pool, and surrounding area, is very nice, and maintained clean.

The swimming pool is a little small for the amount of rooms, and gets crowded quickly.

I liked the hotel and its prices, my kids loved the pool area and spalash pads. the feeling of being in nature with birds while in the pool area was interesting and we loved it. the hot tub was hot and the pool was warm. we had a blast as it was very the city center and Old Quebec

The hotel’s location is central, with Tim Hortons & McDonalds at a walking distance, which turned out to be very convenient for us. Rooms were clean & we arrived earlier at around 3pm but the staff managed to have our rooms ready for us although check in time was 4pm. Facilities were great, especially the swimming pool & splash pad. Our kids loved it.

Only thing missing was that the washrooms didn’t have an exhaust. It’ll also be great if rooms are provided with microwaves. Everything else was good

Great family hotel. Fantastic pool, conveniently located to fast food options, cool playground a five minute walk away, equal distance to Quebec City and the Montmorency falls

Key cards often did not work

The kids enjoyed the pool. Rooms were clean. Nice that the floors are not carpet.

Finishing touches on rooms could be improved. For example, hole cut in ceiling for sprinkler system. Holes in shower curtain.
