The olympic size swimming pool

1.The allowed time schedule for swimming pool and beach starts at 7am its already hot; opening time should start at 6am 2. One of the rooms, Beddings were not change; 3. Wifi password was not given per room 4. Reservations at the front desk were accommodating requests ( unfinished matters) from other guest - even if the guest in front of her checking in is not yet done. It took me 45 min to finish my checking in transaction 5. Our rooms were available at 4pm instead of 2pm… if thats the case, our check out time should have been adjusted too… or a complimentary voucher of a snack should have been given as an appeasement for the inconvenience.

I really enjoyed the tranquility of the resort. It was peaceful while providing gorgeous views overlooking the water. I especially loved the Church on the hilltop. My mother just passed away recently, so the Chapel was of great comfort to me. Our suite was also extremely comfortable. Felt like heaven, and having the balcony with the beautiful nature surrounding it helped me when I wanted to just spend time alone. The all day room service was great.

My only comment is not having cocktails available by the Shoreline Restaurant, where our suite was located. I wanted to relax quietly on my balcony with a drink. I didn’t want to be around people and needed to be alone to grieve for my recently deceased mother.

the breakfast is so good.like the black coffee.we refilled thrice.the breakfast so delicious, yummy lots of food choices. its perfect place to celebrate ...the birthday of my friend, was a blast.thank you Discovery.i

i didn't like was we would have love to try the second pool but it was exclusive for the vllas. booking so slow ang nobody had inform as about boat trip to discovery samal.

The breakfast was very good, my parents and I enjoyed it a lot. The room is spacious and conducive for my dad who is bound in a wheelchair. It is in a very good location, the rooms are quiet, the facilities are amazing, and the pools are excellent. Water temperature is good and conducive for swimming. We also love that there are handrails, floaters, life jackets, and all other equipment and facilities for safety.

We paid for an extra person in the room, but the beach bag, toiletries, coffee, and water bottles were only for 2. We have also communicated ahead of time that both my parents are walking-impaired, and my dad is bound in a wheelchair. However, whenever we call the guest services to request for a buggy to go for breakfast or to a pool and dining area, we would always be told to take the stairs and it would take us less time. We always had to explain that we have elderly checked-in and that my dad was wheelchair bound, which we would assume the guest services / front office people staff already know due to our room number.

All staff were very polite and welcoming, we appreciate the housekeeping a lot as they made sure our room was nice and clean throughout our whole stay, they were able to keep all the facilities tidy considering how big the place is (including the landscape), breakfast buffet was tasty and wonderful (so many food selections), complimentary desserts everyday is a plus !!

Food is a bit too pricey for its taste. Ordered medium rare steak but was served rare. Staff were nice but it would be better if they ask how their customer’s food was. Also their transportation doesn’t have a rotation so it’s hard to find a ride right away. Took them a while to deliver our luggages back to the welcome centre.

Staff helpful, very accomodating and friendly. Resolved issues quickly, professionally, and dilligently. Very afforable for the price, as we have paid MUCH MORE going to other hotels, but received much more value here at Discovery Samal, compared to other places. The rooms were spacious, well maintained, and professionally kept.

One of the rooms had a "dead lock" which meant the electronic door was not capable of reading the keycards. The staff resolved this dilligently and quickly; the young man we spoke with moved Heaven and earth to accomodate us. The only thing I disliked was one of the aunties I brought to stay with us.

Breakfast is okay but not really superb for me. Less varieties as compared to other five-star hotel/resorts. I have heard from another customer that food are always the same everyday. Perhaps the resort can provide different set every day.

Moving around the property is a little bit challenging due to the distance. You need to wait for a while for the shuttle to pick you up. I think the more shuttle roaming around the property would address this concern.

No pool. Sister hotel next door has a pool Also their representative at the airport told us we need to have local currency since business outside of hotel uses local currency only which is not true. Everybody uses USD. We ended up with extra local currency that we cannot exchange back to USD

The room is always clean and the bathroom iand toilet is very clean.the place is very quiet and the staff are all accomodating always willing to helo and thhey are courteous.I like the food that they served,delicious and considered world class.

Their early reminder to prepare fir check out well in fact i have not taken the breakfast.biglang nawala ang moment of hapiness and excitement because they want you to prepare fpr check out,Anyway we know already the time to chech in and out, ngayon ko lng naexperience sa dami ng hotel nthat i have stayed.
