Really spatious hotel room. Half board included in the room price. Very nice Japanese dinner and nice selection of Japanese and Western-style breakfast. Although there was no private shower/bath adjacent to the hotel room, there was a wash basin and a toilet available.

No private bath/shower available only in-house onsen (daily charge of 150 Yen). Limited paking options. We were there during lower season and the parking was nearly full. Paper-thin walls and room doors.

Great location, spotless clean, good coffee, large room, parking I front of hotel, nice onsen and sauna; cool sea views. We wish we could get more info from the bar code in the elevator for emart hotel offers but it opened only in Japanese. We feel we missed the opportunity have dinner but were not explained the dinner options - 3 of those. We did not use the stone bath - out and exploring all day long- but sure it would have been nice. Would stay again for sure and would return in the winter for more great experience.

All was great. There was slight misunderstanding from what we booked at booking.com but staff has rectified quickly and our room was just perfect.

It isn't trivial to find a reasonable hotel in Rausu. We stopped there after a day in Shirotoko national park. At first look it seems a Japanese style hotel. The front desk is located on the ground floor and just beside a smoking room not well sealed. The smoke smell is all around. In contrast, a good surprise with the room. We booked a supervisor twin in the new building and it was a big, nice room, no smoking with a large shower. All in all we had good time. The host was kind and although didn't speak English, made all efforts to help us and explained everything using a translation application.

It was not our 1st stay and we gladly returned back. Location very good, parking is free and huge plus, staff is very friendly, food extremely delicious- we had half board included, room very good size clean and functional; view from room amazing. Onsen and sauna very pleasant and clean. Would stay again and highly recommend.

All was well

I really liked the half board arrangements where they serve the guests authentic old school Japanese meals for breakfast and dinner. The room was big and clean. It even came with a Seaview!

It would've been even better if the hotel included bottomless Sake or Beers to go with dinner.

Not many hotels in Rausu can be booked online by foreigners. Good location for the drift ice cruise departure at Rausu port. Good local Japanese breakfast and dinner. But you have to pre-order.

I was charged for two rooms, but we only used one. I requested a refund, which was agreed to, but I still have not been refunded for the extra room.

The property is excellent value for money. Our room was spacious and clean, with a sea view. The location was good with a konbini close by.

Beautiful location and a very nice host. Stunning view over the ocean with birds like harlequin ducks and pelagic cormorants just swimming and resting in front of the hotel.
