Good location to be able to access everything in Sukhothai, within walking distance from the main Sukhothai bus station and also very quick/easy to reach the historical park by bus/tuktuk. Nice room with good Wi-Fi, AC and hot water, as well as a big fridge. Bed was very comfy. We received 2 bottles of water and fresh toiletries every day.

Payment was by cash only. A 300 baht deposit was required for the room key which we received back after check out. There was a note to say that we should not put the AC lower than 24 degrees. Our room was close to the reception area so we could hear noise from the reception early in the morning, however I don’t think this would be a problem if you were in another room.

Good location, close to bars, street food, restaurant, shop, pharmacy… During the day it is close walk to the main bus station by the canal, 1km. Well i came to the guesthouse with a taxi scooter:-) And when i was leaving i went by walk to the station in the morning to catch a bus to Chiang Mai. Lovely, AC room with nice bathroom, fridge with drinking water… Clean and nice. Owners and staff were very nice. Good breakfast and tasty coffee. Very nice terrace to sit on. Owner drove me to the old city (historical park) for additional price. I recommend! ;-)

Great value for money, nicer bathroom than most at that price. The shower was properly separated from the toilet, which is rare. The Chopper Bar about 75 metres away is great for dinner or drinks. The 7-11 is just there too. We couldn't resist eating at the nearby Poo Restaurant. A couple of minor complaints. When I asked the owner how to get to the Historical Park, he never mentioned that he hired motorbikes. That would have been the best option for me. I noted later that he had suggested that to the male guests. The only other thing is I felt like a naughty child while he checked my room before giving the key deposit back. But all in all I recommend staying here.

I like the friendly staff, their smile and the ability to communicate clearly in English. They are happy to help at anytime. I like the interior, was modern compared to some other Asian places were I have been. Air condition works well and it's quite important given the humid climate. The room was also quite spacious for a solo traveler.

In my travel experiences, I found more comfortable beds but it was ok and nothing wrong with it (3/5). The room could be quite stuffy if you don't let air come in,but that's more an issue with the climate that with the place itself.

BEST GUESTHOUSE IN SUKHOTHAI!! Big thank you for the wonderful Mr Toh and his wife for a fantastic stay in new Sukhothai. The room just like the pictures and as described. It was great value for money, air con, hot shower, clean. Mr toh also had bicycle rental as well, but old Sukhothai is a little further away so we took a motorcycle that was powerful and quick! He tries to be efficient and direct but actually he's a very caring man. When the airline misplaced my luggage he even called for me to see what happened, you know if he can he will look after you. Be courteous and he will go the extra mile. Every time i had a question he was very patient and always helpful, even after all these years looking after countless guests. If you are looking for a basic place that is best value for money you can't really go wrong at TR guesthouse. They have a kitchen downstairs and 7eleven, restaurant, self serve launderette just within 5-10 min walk. They are about 10-15min walk from bus terminal or about under 70-90 baht ride. The area is super quiet at night so you can only hear nearby appliances like aircon if you turn it on. Also, the room has little Natural light apart from a small window so it's perfect if you like to sleep in the dark like me! The beds are comfortable and good linen! Lighting is great so no complaints!!

First of all Toh and Long are incredibly helpful and friendly, they helped us so much when we were stuck for transport to Chiang Mai. Spotlessly clean everywhere, spacious room with large fairly comfy bed. Nice terrace at the front to sit and have breakfast or a drink in the evening. Good breakfast too, recommend the yoghurt and fruit. Can hire bikes from here, there is a lovely cycle route along the canal to the Historical Park. Exceptional value for money. There is a reason TR Guesthouse is recommended on many travel blogs, they provide an excellent service. Would give 12/10 😊

Great location located in a quiet backstreet with very short distance to shops and restaurants on the main street, so walking distance to everything one would need. The bus terminal is about 15-20 min away if you walk, the bus stop for the "songthaew" to old city is only a few minutes away. Spacious rooms with AC and fridge. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice with a safety deposit box in the room, but everything was up to expectations and some.

What an amazing guesthouse 😘😘. Only 10 mins walk or a short tuk tuk ride from the bus station this gorgeous hotel offers tranquility, beautiful rooms and great breakfasts and all tucked away in a small road so it's very quiet and tranquil. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, speak good English and happy to help in any way. The breakfasts are amazing and set you up for a day exploring and the peaceful veranda is great for unwinding with a drink at the end of the day. They also rent good quality bicycles and motorbikes.

Good location, really clean comfy bed , top shower and bathroom..beautiful guesthouse, can arrange trip with tuck tuck to historic city , good price 200thb for 3 people .. would highly recommend a stay here.

Owned by a very friendly couple and lovely staff! The main house was absolutely spotless and so was the room! The room was spacious too. The bed was so comfy. It has a few cafes nearby and a few bars too. Our TV didn't work and the owner fitted a new one within 15 minutes!
