The first thing we saw in the hotel was the evening dinner. And it was a complete explosion of our impressions, because such a restaurant should have Michelin stars, the food was stunningly beautiful and delicious. The guys from the staff - waiters, bartenders (they also met us at the reception) ... are simply magnificent, the service was amazing. The hotel itself is very nice, good value for money. We liked the concept of bathrooms in the middle of the room, incredibly convenient for parents whose kids love to splash - you can enjoy watching a movie while the child is enjoying his bath under the supervision haha A wonderful location on the island, a wonderful island

Room was spacious and very neat. Very nice that they do make a difference on cleaning the rooms or towels when you want it. Food was very tasty and felt fresh. Some of the staff had attention for the guests and we were very fast helped with booking our room. Hotel is animal and children friendly. Location is perfect if you like to stay away from busy places.
The door handle of the bathroom was very hard and squeaky so we didn't close it while we stayed. From our room you could hear very well the people walking up and down the stairs. You could see the lights of the hallway even though your lights were off.

The island of Texel, and this hotel, are two of the most dog-friendly places we've ever been. Getting away from everything was the whole point of our mini-break so we were really really happy to be able to take Rosie with us. It was particularly nice in the restaurant because R-dog was allowed (and there were lots of other dogs, which isn't something we see often). Dogs were allowed everywhere in the hotel. This was fantastic! The staff were also really really nice and the location was very peaceful.
This is just a little thing, but more hooks in the room would have been useful. The closet was great, but hooks on the back of the door (for human stuff and dog stuff) would have made the room even better. It was weird coming in and just putting my purse on the floor.

Great hotel with LGBTQIA+ friendly staff. The room was spacious and the beds and pillows were very comfy. The interior design of the hotel was also nicely done. Restaurant “Floris” is a great place to eat since the hotel is in a remote corner of Texel. They have a nice selection of dishes with multiple high quality vegan options available. Breakfast was a highlight for me. There were so many options and they make “wentelteefjes” upon request. A great place to stay when you’re on Texel. Oh and pro tip: if you can visit this place when the skies are clear you’re in for a real treat because there is no light pollution you can enjoy true darkness and see the stars. ✨

The hotel is located in a charming, quiet, very beautiful location. The place is dog-friendly, so you will meet more than one four-legged friend. There is also a good, cozy restaurant here, not only inside, but also on the territory. Free parking.
windows that don't close, insect screens that don't work, stained carpeting, looks like it has stains from the previous four-legged occupant

Lovely location right behind the dijk, very very quiet, peaceful and dark at night (great for stargazing). Very stylish design throughout. The rooms were large and comfortable, with very cozy beds and a luxurious large rain shower. Always appreciated: coffee/tea facilities in the room. Breakfast was good, nice variety (for Dutch standards) even though the bread was still frozen in the middle….
Staff were reasonably friendly but a bit standoffish and not what I would call welcoming, but I guess that’s just the general attitude in this part of the world. For example: We had reserved a table for dinner upon arrival and still ended up waiting for about 20 minutes - with no apology or attempt to make our wait comfortable (e.g. drinks or nibbles or already providing the menu). Little things like this and the breakfast bread mishap make the difference between “nice” and “exceptional”.

Recently refurbished and the team has visibly put some efforts in it! The room is basic but had all the amenities we needed and a bit more. Decent coffee station, nice bathroom amenities and some other things that I did not expect being a 3-star establishment. The restaurant serves ok comfort food (chicken burger was medium) but the rest (including breakfast, beers and cocktails) is really enjoyable, fresh and stellar quality. Lastly the staff was awesome; although it's high season; all walk around with a smile, ready to provide a nice service and they visibly enjoy their work; honestly this was the cherry on the pie and well done to the entire team!
The only point of feedback, although minor and not hotel related, was our chicken burgers we had in their restaurant. The patty and the bun were so so; nevertheless we were very late for diner so 10x thanks for making a plan for us!

The hotel is is a beautiful spot near the water, with lovely places to sit both inside and out. Nicely decorated. The dinner was delicious and the breakfast buffet was even better than we expected. Very good food! It was also a pleasant surprise to have access to an EV charger for our car.
The rooms were a bit small, but still very comfortable.

Room deco, shower, sink, toilet, fridge, AC, TV. Good breakfast. On site restaurant, bar and terrace are essential at this rather isolated location, though close to water and bird watching paradise.
Mosquito screens are in need of repair. A bit too isolated, ie no grocery or convenience store or other dining option within walking distance. Some dishes / wines seemed over priced.

Everything about this property is lovely! Our hotel room was beautiful, the grounds were charming and extremely peaceful, and the breakfast was excellent. The location was serene and it was a great place to bring our 1 year old (there is a small playground next to the hotel) and dog (yay for a nice pet friendly place). We can't wait to visit again!
We loved everything about the hotel - thank you!
