Very big, modern hotel with excellent facilities in a stunning lakeside location. Beautiful infinity pool with a bar and poolside dining. Fine dining in the penthouse and a busy lounge bar in the spacious entrance atrium. Busy with weddings and parties which were colourful and fun to watch. Exceptionally helpful staff when one of our cases was late to arrive. Flexible too, waiving the day visitor fee so that our family could join us by the pool. Magnificent breakfast buffet incorporating many different Asian cuisines as well as western standards, best I’ve ever seen. A bit of an oasis in Yangon.

The room was exceptional value but other costs such as breakfast or drinks were quite high for Yangon. I thought this was fair enough, all those costs were clear and explicit.

A chain hotel which delivers a good service. The rooms are spacious and the bed very comfortable. I always book the room with a view of the lake (which is more expensive than other rooms), but it is worth it. Breakfast is one of the best in Yangon.

Their use of plastic bottles!!! Come on, we are in 2025. Please buy water bottles which can be refilled in water stations on every floor (many other hotels in Yangon do it). It’s a shame they produce so much single use plastic waste.

All the staffs at the entrance and at pool side bar including bellboys and room service boy were excellent except some particular receptionists. They could have been more friendly and nicer. Stayed 3 nights and happened to use outdoor pool only for the facilities and it was good, the drinks at the poolside bar were amazing for the price, cannot comment about the rest of the facilities as we did not get to enjoy them. The bed was comfy. Location was convenient cuz there was a marketplace nearby. And 16-25 mins away from myanmar plaza.

Again, some receptionists were quite grumpy and felt like they treated us quite different from other foreigners. They cut off our access/key card activation at 11:45 am on the day we checked out, we reached at the room at 11:45 am and we could not get in to get our stuffs. Had to go down again to activate the card at the reception which was quite annoying and waste of time. The room was smaller than we expected. Towels were too old and small for 5 stars hotel. They charge a bit higher exchange rate of USD than some other 5 star hotels. They provide only 1 key card and caused us some inconvenience.

Breakfast at Lotte Hotel in Yangon was absolutely superb — it truly felt like a five-star experience. I must say, my favourite part of the hotel.

What I didn’t particularly like was that a few staff members seemed to treat certain guests differently. It felt as though some visitors were given more attention or warmer service than others, which left an impression of inconsistency in hospitality.

We liked the spacious room, cleanliness, variety of restaurants and the pool(s). The place is very safe with a strict safety protocol, cars are checked, bags are scanned.

We had not booked breakfast with our room. To buy breakfast separately was USD 22.00, which is very expensive and out of proportion to the room price.

Fantastic location with views over the lake. Very nice outdoor pool, great gym with lots of equipment. Very high quality equipment throughout the room (e.g. the bed, the linen). Various restaurants and shops within the hotel (e.g. bakery). Very helpful valet staff.

The staff at the reception and the restaurant receptions are competent but often seem busy. The breakfast buffet is good, but crowded and the area can be noisy.

The lovely clean spacious rooms, the carpets, the mini mart, the pools and the view. A nice choice of restaurants and very helpful service

The restaurants were good but very expensive and generally the price of a room is high. I was disappointed that the business centre could not assist us with posting a letter overseas despite the hotel guide stating that the service is offered

Mattress very comfortable and had good sleep. Buffet dinner and breakfast very good with quite a variety. Easy to get a taxi.

Cleanliness of room furniture can be improved. We saw some stains on the chair. Also peeling leather due to wear and tear

Comfy beds, excellent amenities all around, incredible spread at the breakfast buffet. 5 star experience all in all.

All good, the only slight minus was that the restaurants in the hotel building were mostly on the expensive side. But nothing too egregious even there.

Beautiful hotel with views across the lake from our room and also the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely comfortable room. We liked the choice of restaurants on site and also the convenience store in the hotel.
