The breakfast was superb. Lots of fresh and varied food. Our room was really well appointed . They let us check in early which was nice.

Again, we have to say about the parking. They told us their was ample parking on the adjacent street- there was none! The girl at the desk insisted that there was ALWAYS parking available. SHe was not helpful but they afternoon desk manager was great. Then they said that when we got a place there, we had to move the car by midnight because of street cleaning. Parking in the plaza in front of the hotel was not supposed to happen, but two guest cars did. When I complained, I too got to park there, so stand your ground about parking!!

Calm, very beautiful, sympathetic to its roots as a convent, very relaxing. Lovely lounge bar area and garden. The entrance is a quiet courtyard with easy parking. It felt like a 4 star+ hotel. Good breakfast. Very nice, attentive staff. Over a fantastic hotel.

No complaints at all. But as we were new to Marsala, perhaps provide guests with some notes on where to go, good restaurants etc? We actually found some fantastic places to eat but perhaps we were lucky. Info on a tour of the Marsala wine cantinas would be good? Also nice beaches- lidos? And how to get there.

Breakfast was varied and beautifully presented. The breakfast staff were attentive and courteous. The room was simply furnished which was lovely and very big. The location was perfect, centrally placed in the old town. The bar area and garden were exquisite. The staff in the bar and at reception were friendly and happy to help us at all times. A beautiful hotel.

I liked everything about the hotel.

Old style hotel in old building with old features (eg floor tiling) carefully preserved. Large room on two levels furnished with traditional furniture (but modern mattress and bathroom fittings). Helpful and pleasant staff, reasonable breakfast.

Pedestrianization has meant parking immediately in the square is not possible (but drop off is fine), and with only two reserved bays just around the corner. No restaurant, but plenty nearby and reception recommended and booking an excellent one 100 m away.

the hotel is very pretty. The terrace off of our room was a lovely bonus. The black out shutters were great. The room was small but appointed as expected.

the bed was hard. I prefer one mattress and not two adjoined, the pillows were uncomfortable and need to be changed out.

Wonderful small hotel in a gracious historic building, upgraded to contemporary standards. We arrived on Easter weekend and the front desk managed to get us a last-minute reservation for Sunday dinner at a top restaurant, Excellent afternoon spritz with a spread of tasty bites from the bar manager, and freshly baked breads and cakes made in-house for the lavish breakfast spread. Our compliments to the cook! Really personal service from all.

Nothing--couldn't be better.

The hotel is in a converted nunnery in the heart of Marsala; the conversion is the work of a perfectionist! The location is excellent. The staff were very helpful.

The electric sockets in our room were a very dark brown and although they matched the colour scheme of the room, it was almost impossible to find the holes where the pins of a plug go in!

Hotel Carmine is a beautiful hotel in a very old building on a small piazza in the picturesque old centre. The hotel has an old world charm without being stuffy. There is a beautiful and shady garden which was welcome in the summer heat. Everything was of a high standard. Beautiful dining room with white embroidered tablecloths The lift is a big plus.

Internet very slow, seating accommodation in garden could have been more comfortable.

Everything, especially that it was originally a monastery; great job in converting it. Staff were exceptional, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was delightful, and there were a lot of choices. Room was large, and A/C super. Great location. Highly recommend a stay there.
