The location is great and views from ocean facing rooms are really nice. The buffet breakfast was well stacked. A lot of good eateries within 300m from the hotel, in case you would prefer to eat somewhere else.

We found the tours and transfer rates from the hotel on the higher side compared to klook or other direct service providers. The restaurant is pricey and we found it not good from a value for money perspective. The room clean services for 1 day during our stay was subpar but they quickly rectified once we called the central desk.

The balcony of the room overlooks the beach and the crystal-clear blue sea. There are clothes racks on the balcony where you can hang your swimwear to dry, as well as chairs and a small table where you can sit and enjoy the sea breeze. The buffet breakfast is different every day of the week, with the menu frequently changing. Sometimes it is served in a thatched-roof restaurant near the beach, where you can enjoy breakfast while feeling the sea breeze. Other times, it is served in another air-conditioned restaurant. If you go to the restaurant early in the morning, you can see a friendly cat employee with a bell around its neck on the artificial lawn next to the restaurant. This cat also likes to appear in the area during dinner time.

The shower head in the bathroom is a bit old, and some of the nozzles are plugged. It would also be better if there was ventilation in the bathroom.

I’ll start with the staff - simply awesome! We had 2x families with 4 total kids. They were great with them (good or bad moods (ie near nap time). The place was always clean (common areas, rooms, etc). There were a bunch of activities: jenga, rubber archery, the pool, beach, gym - for all ages. Did I mention how nice and awesome the staff (janitors, front desk, life guards, cooks, waiters) were?

We had one minor hiccup during a VIP’s private event when they failed to put in one of our party’s dinner order… They were busy and made it right with 0 fuss and a lot of apologies. But we got to watch a free fire show that they put on for her, so call it a break even. We did have issues with the ATM. We were unable to get money the 3x we tried, so we had to walk to town to get pesos. It was hot, but the people we interacted with were very friendly. It was a minor inconvenience that made the trip more fun.

ALL Staff were courteous , always greets guests consistently. They even go out of their way to ask if you need assistance or how was your stay. You can borrow plates and utensils and reheat food you have ordered with them. Minibar supply provided is free, the only time you need to pay is when already consumed the initially provided. ( 3 cans of fruit juices, 2 cans of beer, 2 peanut kisses). Water is free althroughout. Very calm and relaxing place. Perfect for those who wanted to unwind and wanted a quiet place to stay. Food was ok. Amenties were good. There are activities that will make your stay enjoyable. NVR transfers and tour partner is great. They were welcoming and very polite during our tour. Our room has a great view of the ocean. Pool was clean. Overall its the best hotel we have stayed in even compared to other 5 star hotels in Manila and resort Cebu hotels we have tried.

The relaxing atmosphere as soon as you step in; the selection of in room dining options is great; the view from our ocean view junior suite is amazing especially during sunsets. So many in house complimentary activities to choose from. The floating dock to watch the sunset is just amazing. Reception was really friendly and warm. It’s a very family friendly resort.

The beach is quite dirty with dead seaweeds, so it’s not really for swimming. The spa was well priced but the service is bad - the massage was not great and the masseuse seemed unfriendly and felt rushed. The location is quite far from everything else - ok if you’re looking to just relax.

checking in was smooth. our room was located at the ground floor with direct access to the pool/beach. The free drinks and snacks in the minibar were a plus! and we looked forward to the daily snacks (kakanin) provided in the room. beds were soft and comfortable, very conducive to sleep! The pool was OK, clean. We loved the beach area although the shore needs more cleaning up of the seaweed. The floating bridge and lookout post that were accessible during low tides in the late afternoons are perfect for sunset viewing. We couldnt stop taking photos of the amazing sunsets! breakfast food was good, offering a variety of choices everyday. the location was quite far from the action center, which was Alona. but the shuttle service to and from Alona at night offered options for us as to where to dine next. the hotel food in the in house restaurant was delicious. daily activities were offered for the guests to avail of for free. local tours were also offered. we availed of the visita iglesia so we got to see many churches in panglao, dauis, and tagbilaran. It was educational and informative as well as we learned trivias and facts about the churches' history. the place exudes a relaxing vibe, especially if one wants to get away from it all. we would definitely stay again there.

the beach needs a cleanup of the seaweeds.

Amazing beach view. Nice pool. Huge room. The breakfast buffet offers a lot of choices. It was nice.

There was no place to hang our wet swimsuits. The food at the restaurant was meh. A bit overpriced for the quality. We got the chicken wings (soo oily, 6 small pieces for €10:/) nachos (bland, soft, cold) burger (very ordinary)

The location was close to the airport and they had a private beach with an Infiniti pool overlooking the same. Complimentary kayaking and sailing activities included. Breakfast layout was very good including vegetarian entrees. Complimentary shuttle at 8:00 PM in the evening to the main Alona Beach area which was only a 15 minute drive where all the restaurants, pubs, spas, shops, etc were located and also collection back from there at 10:30 PM Even though we had a sea view room, view was not totally unhindered as we were facing the other rooms also in our quest to see the sea.

Airport pickup and drop off not complimentary considering the amount of money they were charging per night over others. Signs off wear and tear in the rooms. Rooms not properly cleaned by daily housekeeping staff.

Paradise. Rooms were great. Spacious. The view was paradise. Not too busy here compared to the Alona side. We will definitely come back again on our next summer vacation. Everything about the hotel was a delight. Pool was amazing. Beach was amazing. Sand was amazing. They had a koi pond with hundreds of carp that one can feed and that kept our daughter entertained for hours (granted we probably spent over 40$ for all the food she bought for them lol.

If I HAD to suggest anything I’d say have a lighted magnifying mirror in the bathroom. And a dish soap for the hand soap.

Our stay at Bellevue Resort in Bohol was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Andrew, the manager, for his attention to detail and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Our tour driver Bobbie was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making our excursions enjoyable and stress-free. Dominic and Jezerel in Food & Beverage went above and beyond to make our dining experiences memorable, whether it was happy hour drinks, poolside snacks, or amazing dinners. And Mary from the front desk made our check-in process seamless and welcoming. The level of care and dedication from the staff truly set this resort apart. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were always ready to assist with a smile. We’re already planning our return next year, and our friends and family are eager to visit as well. Bellevue Resort has definitely earned a loyal fan in us!
