Bassa Nova Villa is a great place to stay, especially if you're into Bali-inspired aesthetics. The design is beautiful, and I absolutely loved the rooms — super spacious with a clean, minimalist vibe that’s really relaxing. Just a couple of things to note: the bidet pressure is intense (lol) — might need some adjusting. Also, the pool seemed to have a bit too much chlorine, which made it a little less enjoyable to swim in.

It's our second stay at this beautiful resort. We love the cool Bali style Design. The pool is great and the room is so comfortable! Nice spacious room with large bathroom and good shower. The WiFi works great and for sure we will back again when in Panglao. It's a really convenient location close to Alona beach but away from all the traffic! There is plenty of parking and the friendly staff helped us rent one of their motorbikes which worked well and was reliable. The food in the restaurant is really tasty and we can't recommend Bassa Nova Villa enough! Check it out and see for yourselves! Thanks to Rosalinda and all the staff for a perfect stay!!

First is the ambience of the place. It really makes you feel like you’re on a vacation. Something like Bali but at the same time you’re in Bohol. It’s chill and quiet. Away from the busy streets of Alona which we like. I love how the interior looks like. We stayed in two rooms. One on the second floor and one on the ground floor facing the pool. Both are comfortable and well lighted. It is clean and very aesthetic. I also like the staff. They are all friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate how they arranged to transfer our room to the lower floor from the upper floor since the stairs are a bit challenging for my mom. I can say that I will be definitely going back to this place. The value for money is all worth it.

The place is Bali inspired and very comfy to stay to! It’s nice that we got to feel Bali vibe here in Bohol. The staff are very accommodating and very friendly as well. :)

The shower in our room wasn’t working in our first day, but the good thing was they accommodated us and got to fixed the shower immediately. The place doesn’t have tv, but not really a concern, as we got the chance to enjoy the moment and time with our friends at the bar, balcony and pool. :)

i liked this property for its ambiance. room was spacious also, basic toiletries are available (shampoo, body wash, dental kit), hair dryer also in the room. we also have a balcony where we had our breakfast. good lighting in the room as well

we arrived late night and there were no lights on the facade so it was challenging to find the entrance. there’s no complimentary slippers (which is okay) but i hope they had at least bath mat in the room. restaurant/bar was also closed so we had to dine in the room.

There was an irritating sound that the pipes/water make when you used the water closet. The bar was also closed during our stay so we were not able to try their food. Their bed isn't very comfortable

I recently stayed at the Bassa Nova Villa, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The hotel offered a comfortable and convenient experience without breaking the bank. The room, while not overly extravagant, was clean and well-maintained. It had all the essential amenities I needed for a pleasant stay, including a comfortable bed and a functional bathroom. It was a bit on the compact side, but that was more than compensated for by the reasonable price. The staff at Bassa Nova Villa were friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests (especially Rosalinda!). While the service wasn’t as lavish as in high-end hotels, it was certainly welcoming and helpful, which is what matters most to me.

We had a great stay at Bassa! Check-in was very smooth and we were welcomed warmly by the staff. The room exceeded our expectations. :) We loved how cozy the beds are and the over-all vibe of the room. we got the family room with a pool view which was definitely a great choice. We can just go in and out of the pool as much as we like and the view’s amazing! There’s also a live performer at night by their restaurant. We also really appreciate the customer service at Bassa! They were polite and quick to respond to our requests. We requested to have our brought home food heated, and they served it back to us, well presented with an extra flower on top. We loved it. Thank you so much!

Although the bathroom was clean, I think the bidet had a broken part so it was difficult to use. But still serves its purpose. The water flow is also not that good as the shower head expels water from slightly different angles, which is not that bad since flow is strong anyway. We could still get decent baths. Not a big deal :) It’s also a downside that there were no rice meals in the menu for lunch and dinner 😅

We liked the ambience and upon arrival, although they were short staffed the guy was really nice and he was very attentive to our needs.Kudos to him! The staff are the villas' greatest asset! Hospitality at its best 👌

The bathroom didn't drain and grew puddles of deep water in the shower. The bed was really stiff (extremely uncomfortable), which could do with more pillows and thicker blankets. This, however, was provided extra (free of charge) when we asked on our second day.
