The room was fantastic, lots of room, loved the lounge room and the room setup. Everything was automated, which was surprising. Bed was comfortable and shower was excellent (with turbo jets and rainhead). It was so nice to have a kitchen and a table to sit at. Truly a lovely place and well worth coming to! The lounge area was a nice area to wait for the taxi once we checked out. Staff are amazing and so helpful!!! Location was amazing with so many restaurants and shops. Definitely worth coming to, although it is hilly! Google needs to add advice like....CATCH A TAXI to the hotel from the train station, DO NOT WALK, it is hard to push your suitcase up a hill!

Location was spot on. Staff were great from luggage to housekeeping to manager, really professional and friendly. Apartment was so comfortable, with lovely bed linen, towels etc. Bathroom was much more spacious than we expected with quality toiletries and towels.

It would have been nice to have some larger cups and a few more teabags (I’m English and only drink tea!) but to be fair reception willingly provided more when asked. A tea towel and some paper napkins would have been great.

The staff are very nice and helpful. They will come to you at the right time even you not yet asked for their service. The room is comfortable for a staycation with an elderly person. I like the kitchenette and the washing machine. The bathroom is spacious and easy to use with a walking stick or wheelchair. My mom likes the large TV set 😅. We order take away / delivery food easily and there are so many delicious choices in the neighbourhood.

There's only a microwave and it’s too high for my mom to cook. But I understand this is for cleaning reason.

The hotel itself is on an excellent location. The levels are only a few steps away with exceptional food and drinks all around. The rooms were very spacious and with a washing machine - which was fantastic.

Nothing it was great! The metro stations is about an 8 minute walk away. We did not find this a problem but some might. It is a bit more expensive than other hotels, but the location was great.

Great location and the staff really went out of their way to make our stay excellent. Apartment was spacious given the location and had everything for a short stay. Gym was well equipped.

Not ideal for those traveling with a young child. Cot provided was unusable unfortunately… had no children dining chair available either. The dryer did not dry clothes…

A boutique hotel with personality A refreshing change from the big name brand hotels. Very spacious set up with a large bathroom., sitting room and a luxurious bedroom. . The shower is immense and is equipped with jets and enormous rain shower head. There is a small kitchenette area with a fridge and washing machine. It is obvious that this careful attention to detail creates a living space that a discerning guest can appreciate. I am already looking forward to my next stay

I would have been a healthier option to have the lounge fridge stocked with water. This is preferable to soda. Tea and coffee are provided so it would be a bonus to have milk , instead of coffee creamer.

We stayed at Hotel Madera hotel for four nights and I can’t give enough praise to this hotel. They had a lot of little touches that make the experience great. The front desks responsiveness to messages via WhatsApp for every question was prompt and kind. The amazing rooms are well decorated and have everything you need. The gym is also very well stocked and clean. You can easily get there from Hong Kong station via central escalators and so many amazing restaurants within 100 meters of this hotel Once again big thanks to Madera for going above and beyond. Next time we’re in Hong Kong we’ll visit again.

The most spectacular thing at that hotel is Mimi from the reception! Not even friendly and cute - she gave us a very warm feeling from the beginning till the end!

This hotel is located right in the heart of Central—one of the best areas to stay in Hong Kong! It’s just a short walk from an incredible variety of restaurants, offering both local and international cuisine at different price points. As we did, you can enjoy a new culinary experience at every meal. In terms of transportation, the hotel offers great convenience. The metro station is just steps away, making it incredibly easy to reach all the must-see attractions. Access to the airport is also very straightforward. Now, about the hotel itself—the staff deserves the highest praise! They are extremely helpful, answering every question in detail and always ready to assist. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, and this hotel exceeds expectations in that regard, standing out from many others. The rooms are spacious, bright, and thoughtfully designed with every detail in mind. We truly felt as comfortable as we do at home. A huge thank you to everyone—from the front desk team to the housekeeping staff—for making our stay so enjoyable!
