Excellent location, right in front of the beach: you can leave the hotel in swimsuits wrapped in your towel and you're on the beach! You can even watch the sunset from the rooftop, if not directly from your room balcony! Also located at the doorstep of the city centre, a couple of minutes' walk from restaurants on one side, or a couple of minutes' walk from the stunning white sand beach of Estoril on the other side. The staff is very nice and helpful, fixing any issue immediately. The room is very spacious, with comfy beds, bright and modern (very much appreciated the small fridge and safe in the room). Breakfast can be sufficient to be your only meal of the day, as there's a lot of choice, homemade cakes, pancakes, etc.

If you're looking for a quiet night, it's not the best choice, due to the restaurant in front of the hotel entrance, with loud music and not closing before midnight. A good addition could be a mosquito net above beds, especially for customers who unfortunately tend to be very attractive for mosquitoes.

What a great place for vacation🏖️😍 -Location: the best location in the area. Very close to transparent and warm beach. You can go to boulevard for ice cream. Beach bars are near. -Room: facilities were great and AC worked perfectly. We had spacious room with seaview. We enjoyed teapot in the room. -Staff: Amazing people who helped us with guidance and taxi arrangements. Manager was super helpful. Cleaning was done everyday without us asking. -Breakfast: variety of options for every taste. Could be repetitive but we enjoyed. Hotel has lunch/dinner menu👌

Lack of hot water :(

Location is excellent. There is a beach directly in front of the hotel (no loungers). But a ten minute walk to some comfortable beach resorts (cafes/loungers/toilets,etc). Breakfast more than adequate, with hot foods being cooked throughout the service. Roof-top bar a wonderful place for sunsets with really well-priced drinks. Lovely, helpful staff.

We ate an evening meal once at the hotel restaurant and although the food was excellent, there is little atmosphere. We would easily have eaten there more often otherwise.

I would say our stay at Ouril Hotel Águeda was average but not bad. We managed to book it at the last minute due to an issue with our original reservation at another place, and it turned out to be a decent choice. The location is great, just a 2-minute walk from a nice beach where you can swim or kite surf, and it's also close to the city center. The hotel has a gym on the top floor, though I didn’t get the chance to check it out. Breakfast was pretty standard, but it was sufficient to keep us from going hungry. Our room felt a bit dated with some prints on the walls, but it was clean, and we enjoyed a nice sea view from our tiny balcony. The bed was quite spacious—definitely king size. Overall, it met our needs for a last-minute stay!

Would be nice to have a bottle of water in the room at least at arrival

Best accommodation I stayed in during my island hopping adventure in Cape Verde. The room was clean, the bed was huge and very comfortable, I slept very well there. Everything in the room looked very new and it was super clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very nice. It was quiet when I was there, maybe I had a good price offer due to low season but this accommodation exceeded my expectations, would definitely return if I go back to Cape Verde.

The location is great, walking distance to the beach (beach view from the small balcony I had was fantastic), town shops and markets, good restaurants. The area is calm and safe. The room met all the expectations and there were no "surprises". Especially, I wanna thank the hotel staff as they were extremely helpful (4AM check-in, organising a tour for me etc), friendly and made my stay, like they say on the island, "NO STRESS" for real. Rooftop terrace is awesome!

Superb location on Praia d Estoril. Walking distance to restaurants of Sal Rei and far enough from the noise. Third floor rooms with balconies have excellent views. Away from the monstrous large hotels. 50 m to the beach and it’s endless. Rooftop restaurant has good food. Rooms are large, spacious and clean. Internet wifi was good.

Very limited English at reception. Breakfast needs to be varied. Same stuff every day.

The staff were fabulous. If there was a problem with the room it was immediately taken care of. The breakfast was great and room comfortable. Loved the roof top bar area with the jacuzzi too. The location on the beach was lovely. Wagner was absolutely wonderful.

Not the hotel’s fault: There’s a barking dog next door. The barking can be disruptive if staying on that side of the hotel. My room was changed when I brought this to the staffs’ attention.

The terrace was beautiful, food was good and cheap Location is right on the beach and next to the town. The staff were excellent and friendly. Wagner, Vandy, Erica and Clairvany in particular felt more like family than staff and were beyond helpful and friendly.

The gym was tiny and not many functioning machines or weights. But there was a gym next door so not a problem. The guys who stay on the beach are great and friendly but i wouldn't get too involved as you will have to go past them everyday and it can become overwhelming.

The hotel is small an the stuff is very kind and helpful. It is near the city centre and you can see the sea in front. There is a supermarket 3min away and there are lots of restaurants around. You only need to walk 2min to the beach. The rooftop bar is also very nice.

The hotel looks good, but the bathroom is a little bit moldy. The breakfast is not really big. You get bread, cake, pancake, muesli with milk or yoghurt, cafe, water, juice, marmelade, butter, nutella, fruites. The dishes are sometimes a little bit dirty.
