Friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond, even though they didn't have to. Lovely atmosphere with sitting room and balcony and a fire pit and wood fired sauna in the evenings. Plenty of restaurants within a short walk and free Snowbus across the road. Coffee and tea available all the time. Would definitely recommend and enjoyed my stay.
A little overpriced when it cost almost as much as New York, but most places in town are even dearer. Hopefully you won't get elephant's upstairs as the floor/ceiling is a little thin!

The hotel was clean and everything looked nice and new. The bed was pretty comfortable. There was a nice path to walk to the downtown area. The staff was nice. We stayed here only one night before our early flight home, so it was suitable. If staying multiple nights, it might be a bit cramped. There were some nice outdoor areas to hang out.
There was only instant coffee in the room. There was only a comforter and thin blanket on the bed, no extra blankets or pillows anywhere. The price was the best we found in Whitefish but still a lot.

The coffee by Montana Coffee Roasters was really good and the tea brand offered also more high end and good. I enjoyed doing a few work calls in the lounge while I waited for my room. I was able to check in early and I thought the room was cozy.
The AC/Heater machine is very loud. Luckily I didn't have to use it much. Just used one time to heat up the room quickly. In the winter or middle of summer this could disturb light sleepers like myself. They do supply ear plugs. The bathroom counterspace was very limited and you don't have room to put your toiletry bag, brushes, etc. They need a light in the middle of the room on the ceiling. Need heavier comforter for winter.

Location (esp. access to the river walk and downtown) was so nice. Proximity to a first class eating establishment like Rebel Roots was a nice bonus. Exemplary cleaning staff; perhaps the best custodial team ever! The furnishings were very nice. Pottery Barns and CB2 are lush touches.
I would have loved more storage and cabinets for my clothing items; a few hangers on a wall is not going to be sufficient. The complimentary coffee should offer alternative milks. Not everyone drinks half and half. They should consider a bed and breakfast option for those who are willing to pay a little more to not go into town in the morning; or at least offer a communal toaster like similar hotels in the Tahoe area.

It’s the little things that count. The air-conditioning was great. It cooled the room off to the point where I had to turn it off (that doesn’t happen very often). The soap and shampoo and hand lotion was actually high-quality and worth buying . There was coffee available two different types in the morning at the front desk. And most of all there was a legitimate Wood sauna in the backyard with a cold plunge tub. And an amazing fire pit. If I wasn’t so tired from cycling, I would have started a fire and played the guitar around it. This is an amazing place and I would recommend it to anybody.
The property was great. The landscaping company that they use isn’t. I would’ve appreciated if the guy didn’t use his leaf blower to blow stones against my truck while I was leaving the parking lot lol

Friendly, hip spot in a great location. Loved the cork floors in the room and the thoughtful finishes. It was also nice to be able grab a nice latte right in the lobby before hitting the road.
We could have used a little more attention to the comfort details. The bed is great, but the only other seating is a a covered bench in the corner … not very deep and one of the walls you would need to lean against has the air handling unit on it. Not a deal breaker, but kind of a miss.

Loved the vibe! Cutest guest lounge with record player and great selection of records. Wood fire stove sauna was a fun experience at the end of the day. Room was cosy and clean, bed comfy, lovely modern, alpine feel. Staff very helpful. Pleasant short walk by the river from the back of the property to downtown and the many fabulous Whitefish shops, restaurants and pubs. AW is a gem.

Great location, easy 10 min walk to downtown or a simple drive. Parking was available at the hotel & free (same DT for 2h). The rooms were accurate to the photos, very clean, new and fresh! We loved the decor and personality of Apres. There were really nice products in the bathroom which made a nice touch, along with free coffee in the lobby and the staff were friendly. We didn't use the sauna or fire area but it looked great and the staff member who checked us in explained how to go about using both so we felt well informed. I would recommend and stay here again for sure!
It would have been really nice to have bathrobes to make using the sauna a little easier but this is just a tiny detail!

The hotel itself has a funky vibe with eclectic art on the walls of the rooms, and a record player with records in the common area. Great little seating area there. The sauna was as nice as I expected, and we really enjoyed spending a little time there. The rooms were newly appointed and everything was new and clean. We enjoyed our stay there.
When we first drove up, it looked like there were people loitering in the parking lot and just hanging out. That was a little strange until we realized it was probably just people enjoying the food truck and the picnic tables nearby, or coming off the walking trail. Also the dispensary across the street was not desirable for me.

The front desk receptionist allowed me to stay in the hotel lounge while waiting for the check-in time. I had been backpacking and needed to wash my clothes. I used the washer and dryer, conveniently located next to the lounge, for just $3. The receptionist was very helpful. The single queen room was perfect for me.
Noise from guests upstairs after 11pm. The floors are tile, so footsteps from the room above can be heard.
