The property was fabulous and in a terrific location. I was clean, well stocked, and comfortably furnished. My wife and daughter used the hot tub, and my daughter used the gym. The front desk loaned my daughter bear spray so she could take early morning runs on the golf course. We enjoyed a beautiful view from our balcony, enjoyed the wildlife that live on and near the lakes (they doubled as water hazards), and we watched a young eagle make some tentative circles over the lake while trying to get accustomed to flight. We also had a view of the northern lights-more on that below.

The sofa bed was terribly uncomfortable due to missing and disconnected springs at the foot of the bed. I tried many times to reconnect them without lasting success. The northern lights were directly overhead, like a large umbrella, but the exterior lighting rendered them mostly shades of gray. A maintenance worker later showed us video he had taken in a darker and more secluded area of the resort, and they were amazingly brilliant in colors of red, green and yellow. I wish we had known how to find a dark area like the one of which he was aware. The disappointment is not the fault of the property, just our failure to scout before dark.

The resort was very nice, quiet (with the exception of a noisy next door guest but that can happen anywhere) and safe. It's well located to access attractions in the area. We had dinner at the restaurant the first evening and it was great. The steak was exceptionally good. The service was also very good and prices reasonable. The front desk customer service was great. We communicated on the way regarding our arrival time/check in and restaurant hours and they were super responsive and friendly. All in all, a great experience.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The facilities were excellent. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had many thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed having coffee on the balcony each morning.

The in-room fan was constantly on and couldn't be turned off. It was loud and alternated between blowing warm and cold air. Additionally, the sheet on the bed felt too short and kept coming off during the night.

Meadow Lake turned out to be a great place to stay - even though I have no interest in golf. The rooms are well appointed, the price was very reasonable, and the property is exceptionally attractive (despite its being a golf course!) My room opened out onto a small patio facing the duck ponds and the fairways, and was absolutely lovely in the morning. You can walk a couple of miles around the perimeter of the course before tee-time risks your getting beaned by a golf ball. There's a stream that runs through the middle of the course that's been left wooded. The location is ideal - you're north of, and away from, the commercial/industrial areas in Columbia Falls, while still being only a few minutes away. Whitefish is only a short drive. The rec center has indoor and outdoor heated pools, plus a jacuzzi, all very clean. For me, this was a great value.

We loved the location, facilities and also the staff. It was very nice to have a little coffee shop as well as the ability to play some pool in the evening. They also have a full restaurant and bar that was pretty good.

Traveling alone - I felt save with the accommodations. Loved the location on the golf course and the fireplace. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying morning tea and the quiet. The condo had all the needed cookware in the kitchen and there is a nice Saver One grocery store with all that you could need close by. The furniture was nice and not worn out. The bed was comfortable and having covered parking was a bonus. The distance to Glacier National Park was about 20 minutes - easy breezy. I would definitely love to stay here again!

Nothing really. A nice touch might be to offer bear spray to borrow - where you could reserve it when you book. I was up there to spend time in Glacier hiking and since I flew - I had to get bear spray. Spoke with another hiker and the place she stayed offered the spray to borrow when booking their place. I thought it was a nice touch and saved the hassle of having to rent bear spray when its off-season or buy it ($55) and then have to leave it. Just an idea!

The resort location was really convenient for our trip. It’s only a couple of minutes away from the glacier national park, it is also close by the shops so we were able to get groceries when we need it. The property was really nice, we didn’t expect a 2 floor apartment. They have upgraded our room from a one bedroom condo to a two bedroom. We loved everything on our stay. The condo was nice and spacious, it has complete kitchen set, even has a grill by the balcony. We loved being able to chill by the living room after a long day of hike and being able to cook food at night. Unit also has a washer/dryer so we were able to wash some clothes while we are away. The staff was really nice, the front desk let me borrow a bear spray and when i asked for a maintenance to get a clogged cleared up they sent someone right away. The housekeeper did a really nice job as the place is really clean and has just the right amenities. Next time we go back to glaciers i would definitely look into this place and let people know as well.

Nothing, everything was perfect, the staffs were amazing, the location is perfect, the unit is very nice.

The condo was a good size and comfortable, with a full-sized kitchen and two full bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a washer and dryer in the unit and that laundry detergent was provided. There was also designated parking for each unit. The resort's grounds are beautiful, and it was a pleasure to take an evening walk.

One of our bathrooms had an extractor fan that was not working. The maintenance staff came twice to look at it and determined they needed an electrician to fix something in the fuse panel. However, the electrician never showed up. The other issue is that there are few dining options in the resort, on a particular day the onsite restaurant was not open due to staffing shortages

Meadow Lake Resort met my needs after last minute travel plans left me without accommodations or a car. The staff were very helpful, giving me access to the amenities while I waited for to check in to my room, and I even got a ride to the airport at 4am the next morning. It was the best possible outcome for an unplanned day traveling.

The room did not have toiletries beyond hand soap. There was a sign that if I needed anything to call the front desk... I just decided not to wash my hair. Minor disappointment, but also I understand why this might be the best choice for the resort.

Continental breakfast wasn't offered, but the coffee shop was nice. The restaurant met our expectations as well. It was our 10-year wedding anniversary, and the complimentary drink tickets were appreciated after two mishaps with our rooms.

Our first room on the third floor was lovely except the heating unit didn't work, which prompted a change of rooms. We then had a room on the first floor, which likely wasn't a room priced at the same price as our first room. More disappointing was the fact that the room wasn't clean: the surfaces of the tables and counters hadn't been wiped and the toilet was dirty.
