The hotel is a lovely building and in a nice location near to the river. The staff are very helpful. Zamora is a larger town than imaged but still very pleasant.

Our room needed a little bit of TLC but didn't really detract from the hotel as a whole.

Fantastic atmosphere of an old palace from the 16th century. Founded as the seat of the Inquisition in Zamora. History breathes from every pore. We had a room with a view of one of the most beautiful rivers in Spain, the Duero. The room was clean.

Unfortunately, the bathroom was not up to standard.

The hostería real is a historic building with some parts that date from the middle ages, and it's decorated with religious art and quaint furniture, enhancing the historical feel with modern comforts, especially air conditioning and full en suite bathrooms! I also love that it's so close to the river and the newly reconstructed stone bridge, perfect for an early morning walk and bird watching. I'd go for a run in the cool morning then have breakfast after showering, taking advantage of their buffet and coffee bar.

It's an older building so noise can travel plus the upper floors are accessed by stairs. There is one room on the ground floor where a friend with limited mobility stayed, and she said it was very pleasant.

The Hosteria is in a 15th/16th century building which has been beautifully restored. There are lots of lovely paintings on the walls and there is a nice interior patio. The room was a good size and had a beautifully decorated bathroom. It is well located on the river by the Roman Bridge and just below the historic centre. The staff were very helpful and provided us with a place to store our bikes. They also recommended some great tapas bars. We had amazing Pinchos Morunos in one of them, great Patatas Bravas in another and a variety of lovely tapas in another.

Excellent place to be, close to the Duero River and the famous bridge, walking distance to all major attractions, very friendly and competent staff, very good breakfast. Historical place with a lot of atmosphere, a charming inner courtyard where you could spend hours and enjoy its atmosphere. A place where your Euro buys you more.

The building, particularly the interior patio is very pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great at the edge of the old town and overlooking the river. Free street parking in tront of the hotel. Very walkable city both the old town and the river. Breakfast is very good

This historic building has lots of beautiful art- museum quality-and has been updated but not overly so that the charm is maintained. I loved the location near the river. Excellent breakfast and kind staff. It’s an excellent value for any who prefers character in their lodging. If I ever return to Zamora, I would stay here again!

Easy parking next to the building. Beautiful riverside location. Historic property. Well priced. Helpful desk staff. Beautiful courtyard and interesting common areas.

Spartan accommodations. Location felt remote from human activity, but that is because the old town shuts down early. Needed to drive across the river to find a meal after 9 pm; might be a challenging location if reliant on mass transit.

A rather delightful hotel, full of character, in a lovely position about twenty yards from the River Duero, but with easy access to the centre of a charming city. The fact that the rooms are set round an internal courtyard makes for quietness. The facilities were good, with hot water for shower and shaving, and a good breakfast in a spacious room lined with pictures. Staff always polite and helpful.

No light over the washbasin made shaving rather approximate!

Incredible, best stay ever. The history of the house, the paintings, the vibe & peace, the interior decor of an old jesuit house, the XV century Bath inside, the private patio & garden. The whole city of Zamora is full of historical gems & peculiarities. Special mention to girls on reception - they are awesome & super lively.
