Beautiful interior with stained glass windows, marble pillars and surfaces and huge paintings in gilt frames. It was a pleasure just to walk around the expanse of the building and take in the opulence. Corridors lined with dark oak panelling and wall sconces reminiscent of Arturian days. The restaurant resembled a medieval dining hall, lavishly decorated with drapes and cushions. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a wonderful view of the countryside. Dinner was beautifully served by excellent staff. Could not fault this hotel at all. Monica, on reception, was particularly helpful in explaining the history of the building.

Stunning hotel both inside & out…decor beautiful…. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Spain…. Restaurant food & service first class… Breakfast spread superb…Tucked away in countryside grounds to property amazing….

Nothing not to dislike..

An amazing quirky place and really worth staying and dining there for the jaw dropping experience! A suite at 90 euros including a fab breakfast and an excellent set 3 course dinner for 35 euros was great value.

The staff was very welcoming despite their tiredness on a very busy day for them. The room was large and quiet, overlooking the parking. The parking is free. The breakfast is buffet-type. We used the spa and the restaurant. Both are high-quality, must-go ones. Finally, the bathroom had a toilet brush, a sign of civilisation. I do not like to see my own poo every time I visit the toilet. I do not know why the toilet brushes are vanishing from most hotels.

To say something, the bar contrasts with the hotel (but with a wonderful wooden motorbike within). Otherwise, nothing to comment.

XIX century hotel atmosphere! Free parking! Comfy and cozy! Nice garden in front of the hotel! Very good breakfast! Staff very friendly but hard to speak in English!

Windows oriented to courtyard with constant noise from air conditioning fans!

Room was fine. Very decorated hotel - gold furnishings everywhere.

Over large starter - no room for pudding! Air conditioning not up to scratch.
