The accommodation suited our needs in terms of comfort, equipment and location. Comfortable bed, availability of a fridge and a safe. The private parking was useful to avoid emptying the car for a single night. The city was pleasant to explore. The centre is easy to reach on foot.

The breakfast last until 11h00; however if you plan to take it, you are better to be there at 9h30 at the latest; this time seems to be the rush hour on Sundays and not only there is no refill of missing food after 10h00 but there is a lack of tableware and the staff is overwhelmed by the task. A simple query such as to know where a plate can be found is finally answered in a manner bordering on rudeness. The staff reception at the hotel is a complete opposite of the one found in restaurants in town where friendly, open and smiling waiters work. Luckily we met them, otherwise we would have left the pretty town of Magdeburg thinking that it was populated only by grumpy people.

Nice and spacious room. We travelled with a baby so it was important to us that we have enough room for the baby bed. The staff was very friendly and spoke English, which does not happen often in the neighbourhood from our experience. The bed was comfortable and big and we found the location perfect for a stop during our road trip (not too far from the highway but far enough to enjoy the city). We didn’t get to take advantage of it but there is a bar next to the reception, which is very nice.

We had a stain on the carpet but for the rest it was very clean.

Ideal for single traveller. No fuss. Obviously a lot of effort has gone into presentation of the room. Pleasant shock to walk into the room (sometimes that is not the case). English speaking traveller patiently catered for. Definitely would stay here again.

Breakfast was very nice, great that there were vegetables and fruit, lovely pastry. Loved the bread muffins with salt on top. Room was clean, loved the note "due to sustainability, do not clean my room" - I used, it was great - I do not need to have my towels changed every day.

The check-in could have been a little bit earlier, but the staff allowed us to leave our luggage and gave information about the city to have a stroll.

The breakfast was very tasty and generous. There were plenty of free parking spots available right under the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

There was no air conditioning in the room. We stayed during a heatwave, so it was uncomfortably hot.

Everything was good more or less.. Clean, nice room, easy check in and check out.

Pillow is awful, like in many German hotels. Too soft, basically non existant. I suggest to provide better pillows

Great hotel and breakfasts! Building has an elevator, well-designed rooms. Not far from the station, super location. There's everything you need nearby. Quiet area. You can ask for an electric kettle. We like everything, thank you.

It is a bit hot on the last floor, I believe it is only in summer, but you have a fan in a room.

Very nice hotel. Rooms have everything you would expect, very clean, very helpful staff, great breakfasts, garage at a reasonable price, excellent Wi-Fi.

The bed could be a bit softer (however it's like on other this level hotels)

Good hotel to stay a night. Spacious and clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Good location and has secure underground parking.

We decided not to stay for breakfast as even the dogs are allowed in the hotel , they said we cant take our dog with us on breakfast room and we did not wanted to leave our dog alone in the room. Also, there are no tea or coffee making facities in the room, so could not even make a coffee in the room.

Kind and helpful personel, nice rooms and very good price. Also very quite. The neighbourhood is also nice, while the city center is 20-30 minutes to walk.

Breakfast was very pricey.
