The staff is just outstanding! Everybody is very friendly, thought- and helpful. The fact that the house only accommodates 6 rooms gives a very exclusive feeling and so it also doesn’t really matter, that the pool is a bit small - but the beach (aka the big pool) is just a few steps away. We really loved to stay 5 nights there in total and definitely recommend a visit!

The only thing i didn’t like was a mattress protector, which was uncomfortable for me as it made me sweat all night even though the aircon was on.

The perfect staying in Ahangama! The room, bathroom and common areas are so nice and beautiful that we felt in a beach dream! The staff is so kind and are always smiling and making sure that you are having the best time and experience! The food and cocktails are SO GOOD! We had a wonderful time on the beach and also at the pool area! We hardly recommend the staying!

Everything was perfect!

The Hotel is Amazing! They put loads of effort into making your stay special. They sent us an email to ask which welcome drink we would like and the temperature of the room etc. When we arrived everything was sorted. The room was really nice, the bed and pillows so comfy. The staff put effort into making your stay as smooth as possible, they are nice and kind, always checking on us. The food and the drinks are so good, that we ate every day in the hotel. Was worth every penny! And if you can book the room with the bath, the sunset from the bath is amazing.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Location is perfect, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing. We had a room in the adjacent building. It was compact, on ground level without a view or balcony (you get what you pay for and the price was reflective of not having these extras), but it was all we really needed and the bed and pillows were soooo comfortable! Shower was huge and the air con worked great. The hotel is situated down a side road off the main road, so we had no issues with noise and security was present day/ night. Breakfast is also worth a mention - a large selection to choose from and absolutely delicious. The pool is small, but so is the hotel, so often you have it to yourself. Loved that this hotel was ‘adult only,’ as it made the experience very peaceful. The staff were also very lovely and attentive. A couple hotel dogs onsite which was an absolute bonus for us. We loved seeing that these dogs were cared for, allowed to lounge around the hotel in the shade and cash in on some of our brekkys!

Access to a drying rack in our room would have been handy - even a small one inside the wardrobe (as opposed to the ironing board), as I’m sure the rack would be more suitable for the majority of guests.

The loveliest stay at The Harding Boutique Hotel! We only had one night to spend in Ahangama and we're just so glad that we chose this hotel to spend it at. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome on arrival, the room was just beautiful - super clean, beautifully decorated and had the most incredible view. They kindly upgraded us on arrival and we were so grateful as the room was just beautiful. I also have to mention the toiletries in the bathroom are all Grown Alchemist which felt like a total luxury after weeks of using basic soap. The breakfast was incredible (we both decided it was the best of our whole trip) and the whole vibe was just perfect. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it's the perfect plunge pool and it's literally a two minute walk from the beach. The location is also ideal, just a few minutes from the row of restaurants and bars and it still felt like a bustling town not a tourist hot spot. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer! We'll be back!

Our stay at Harding hotel was the most enjoyable stay during our trip in Sri Lanka. Not only did it meet the expectations of the price in terms of the room standard, the hotel in general, location etc, but the staff was the best we ever could have hoped for. They paid such attention to details, made their service very personal (knowing what we normally had for coffee orders, drink orders etc) and they did some sweet romantic set up for us to have breakfast and candlelit dinners on the beach. Biggest thank you to the staff overall for being amazing but extra thank you to Eranga, Pramith and Hasindu. Already excited to come back.

Stunning room, great pool which was cold and refreshing, beautiful spot of beach and the staff and the service were a huge highlight. We felt so welcome and comfortable there! Also the hotel is a couple of mins walk to a nice bar with a good evening vibe.

Harding is luxury and first class hospitality!From the first greeting (fresh juice, no sugar and a welcome flower for the lady!) to the last moment (breakfast waiter posts at the street for Uber driver. Everything in between okay. Great breakfasts, we loved the avocado with poached eggs on toast), always inquiring if we were okay, the cleaning of the room, the extra coffee provided. And more. The rooftop restaurant Mr. M is top notch! We enjoyed the food very much.

Room is quite small for its price. The pool is very tiny, no deck chairs for alle guests. The beach on the photo is just a small strip of sand, not actually a beach.

I had a delightful experience at Harding Hotel in Ahangama. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a cute flower and a refreshing welcome drink. Although not beachfront, the hotel boasts an amazing view and a prime location. The food was excellent, with compliments to the chef for their culinary skills. What stood out the most was the incredibly friendly and helpful staff who made my stay memorable. Additionally, the hotel's gesture of providing a branded tote bag upon check-out added a thoughtful touch to the overall experience. Highly recommend Harding Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The property is located in the middle of the action of Ahangama , yet the noise doesn’t come into the rooms. We booked this in the last minute and the staff were very kind to upgrade us to a sea facing room. The room was spectacular, modern and clean. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff were cheerful and eager to ensure our stay was comfortable. The pool was clean as well , with access to the pristine beach.

The only wish, not a complaint, would be if that the pool were larger enough to do some laps.
