Great. View of the river,good size room,breakfast was great,so many Choices. Hotel was central to everything. Good to venture out at night to the centre,an absolute hive of activity with places selling drink and food,it’s a must

The front of the hotel completely puts you off,down a side street with no parking,but once in your room it’s lovely. Fortunately I asked for river view.dread to think what a horrible out look you would get on the opposite side tho. Parking is underground opposite car park can work out expensive and should be free for hotel guests

This is a really straightforward hotel, no frills but everything works and is clean. The location close to the centre of the city and alongside the river is excellent, especially if you can bag a room overlooking the river and the fortress, as I was able to do. The breakfast offering is very good indeed. Wurzburg is a lovely city, the people (locals and other visitors) very friendly, and, if you can, do visit when there is a wine festival taking place, the one that was happening when I was there was a lovely event, and I actually ate all of my evening meals there during my three night visit. Do also enjoy a glass of wine or two on the bridge.

The best part of this hotel is the location. The room was a good size and we stayed on the west side of the hotel so we had a beautiful view of the Main River, Marienberg Fortress and all the activity. But honestly, we were not in the room much but you are so close to the River and the stadtmitte. You cannot have a better location for the money. Parking was not a problem although you have to pay. We honestly just parked our car for three days and never utilized the vehicle. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Breakfast was very good and started early everyday.

The bathroom is really small and the shower is tight.

The location of the hotel. On the river with a beautiful promenade, and old town just behind. Very central. We had a lovely river view from our room and though it was next to the breakfast room, it was quiet. There is mini fridge and A/C and one mineral water bottle but no tea/coffee. There is a lift. Breakfast is good with cereals, breads, tea/coffee, juices, fruits, cold meats, cheeses, boiled and scrambled eggs. Staff was very helpful

This property is in a great location on the river and a very short walk to the city centre. The room was very comfortable. I arrived late, so used the self check in, which was convenient. The only time I saw a staff member was when I checked out, and she was very friendly and accommodating of me only speaking English, which I very much appreciated.

The only let down was the wi-fi wasn't great (given I was there for work) but in the grand scheme of things, no big deal. Everything else in my experience of the property was great.

Parking in the Kraken Public lot was 60 yards away. The Weilnachts Christmas market was 2 small city blocks away - which was an upscale market with a lot of younger adults having fun toasting with their friends. English was spoke at the reception desk. Very convenient location for many attractions. Breakfast was good quality with fresh ingredients. Slept like a rock in the beds. The same-name restaurant above the parking is directly on river with open air beer garden and VERY high quality local beers on tap, then a short 60 yard walk back to hotel. Walk to the old stone bridge across the river was very convenient. We also walked to the 7th century frankish Marien Castle from hotel, but we could have driven and not done the 450 rise and 450 foot downhill elevation change as well - on weekday morning the parking was wide open at the top - good exercise, but not necessary. We would have lost our nice parking spot at public garage if we drove. Directions on the Mercedes-me in-car navigation in our C220d diesel-hybrid Merceds rental car that got 60 mpg at open autobahn speed was VERY accurate in Würtzberg and we were never lost - it took us directly to the property and its 3D map depicted the buildings and 145 degree turns into the alley to drop luggage very well, saving some possible headaches.

Although our ticket was punched by the front counter reception we still paid 22 EUR to stay in parking - not sure it was discounted at all. I didnt like staying 1 night, we should have stayed a few days longer. The public garage does fill up and seems we could have been locked out of getting a spot, but that did not happen.

The location really was perfect. Within walking distance of everything, which made it very convenient for dropping things back to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and approachable. They also spoke perfect English, which I really did appreciate! They made my stay all the more enjoyable. The hotel is just slightly off the main square, which means that it is nice and quiet.

I would have liked a kettle in the room. The Nespresso machine was very handy, though!

The location was absolutely perfect - right next to the old bridge, and we were able to walk into the old town, restaurants etc., The hotel was immaculately clean, and the view from the breakfast room was beautiful. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of food.

The beds were a little hard, but that was no problem at all, just a bit harder than we are used to!

Everything was really good. Especially the location, personnel and check in procedure. My train was delayed for more than an hour, I worried that I will have struggles with late check-in. But hotel has smart checkin machine on the entrance, which allowed easy access. Really appreciated.

The only disadvantage were the pillows. They were not comfortable. Everything else - just perfect

Location.....location....location.....right on the water, big windows for amazing view of the fortress on the hill...super easy walk to the historic bridge and the old town center...winefest on the bridge....room decor with the light wood was very welcoming....comfortable bed....highly recommend walking across the bridge and up to the fortress to look down over the town...breakfast room nicely decorated and excellent views across the river....very good selection of fresh and artfully presented breakfast

Check in with the outside box system was very efficient and easy but missed the human interaction...we did not see anyone working at the property until the next morning for breakfast.
