The hotel was excellent! A few minutes from the ferry. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and felt brand new. The décor thoughtfully incorporates Indigenous design elements, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. Everything was clearly well planned and executed. What you see on the website is exactly what you get. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was available on-site with a 20% discount—delicious and definitely worth it. I would absolutely stay there again!

We did not stay at the hotel because of a power outage as the result of the bomb cyclone, however I would like to make comments on the management. Even though there was no power the management had provided hot soup and water for potential guests. In our case since we had a car the manager cancelled the fees for our accommodation and then phone around until he found alternative accommodation for us in a town that still had power-the town was a 3 hour drive away. With this type of attitude in times of adversity you can only imagine how good it would be in favourable circumstances. Thank you for the effort and help you provided to an overseas visitor

Fabulous hotel in Port Hardy. It had beautiful indigenous art throughout. The room and beds were very comfy and the front desk woman who checked us in went above and beyond by providing a kettle for our room and access to a microwave to heat our food. We had arrived late in the evening and were leaving very early the next morning to catch our boat to begin the North Coast trail. This hotel stands out as the best accommodation in the small town. We did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the breakfast. Parking was plentiful and free. The hotel is located right on the main road that runs through the town so very easy to find/get to. A gem!
No issues at all.

Location was great, hotel looks nice from the outside and staff were very helpful & friendly.
On the inside it looks just like any other hotel. I could hear the people above me at night and in the morning, there was always somebody on the hallway making noise in the morning, staff or other guests, I had a hard time sleeping here tbh. This is not by any means a cheap accommodation and at this price point I was expecting a bit more.

Large comfortable room, beautiful artwork and excellent information about the artwork and artists. Good to have the pub and restaurant at the hotel for meals and we appreciated the 20% of breakfast. Staff were helpful. Location was fine, in walking distance to shops.
Pillows were enormous - it would be nice if there were some smaller options provided!

Hotel decor was very nice. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was nicely layed out, spacious, clean and beds comfortable. Location was relatively close to area we were interested in exploring (Cape Scott) (2hrs) It was near a grocery store and outdoor store where we needed to purchase items (bear spray) and gas. Restaraunt in hotel was also convenient to have on site. Food there was pretty good. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was quite good with many hot and cold items and plentiful. (Good new is that I did not hear any kids running up and down halls, it was quiet)
Dinning Experience: Restaurant was crowded with hockey families and noisy (which made it difficult to hear our own conversations & relax). Pool table was also in use. I realize the other restaraunt was closed so maybe that was why?

The room was beautiful and the staff so friendly. Loved the artwork and cleanliness.
Next time I would request a room on the top floor. Both nights we had people above that stomped around so much we couldn’t sleep. We called front desk but the people didn’t stop making noise. Maybe they were drunk? They dropped things on the floor and banged liked they were hammering something. I would stay there again only if I could get a top floor room.

The The hotel is wonderful. The architecture is beautiful, the rooms are decorated very tastefully and are modern and clean. A serve-yourself breakfast offered good variety and was served in a bright, clean dining room. The restaurant on site is also good and the gift shop sells tasteful good-quality items - many of which are designed by Indigenous artists. The hotel staff are friendly, professional and very accommodating as many of their guests arrived late due to the ferry schedule. They organized the rooms so that late arrivals did not disturb sleeping guests which was a great idea!
For people who do not have their own transportation, it is too far to walk to the ferry terminal. The room rates are a bit high but the hotel is much nicer than most.

Best hotel in town, the rooms themselves never disappoint and beds/pillows are great. Food at the restaurant is decent, comfortable stay.
Stayed for 4 days and housekeeping never came, bed was never made, ran out of toilet paper and toiletries half way through trip. Service in restaurant wasn't great, food took a long time and kids drink and meal were forgotten completely, prime rib was more of an overcooked steak.

We had a warm welcome from the front staff and relaxing nights after hours of adventure in the hotel. We were also happy with having breakfast at the hotel, so we could leave early for our adventures, considering Port Hardy does not have much options to offer.
The restaurant menu had limited options, and they were a bit pricey.
