The staff were wonderful. They were friendly, courteous and helpful. When I made certain requests they responded positively and promptly. And when I was forced to cancel a second reservation because I had to leave town early they understood my position and agreed to cancel the reservation free of charge.

1) Even allowing for the fact that it is the high season, I thought the nightly rate was a bit pricy. 2) The carpeting in some areas of the stairs and hallways are a bit worn and need to be replaced. Also, I wasn't impressed with the condition of the rags on the outside and inside of the main entrance of the hotel. While this may not be a major point regular vacuuming of the rags will certainly give a better impression to any arriving guest.

Great location, especially for the price. Free ice from the ice machine downstairs. Located in the center of town steps away from stores,bars, food, gas etc..

You have to ask for room service they don't automatically clean and reload the supplies in the room everyday you have to ask. They are very frugal when you ask for extra coffee sugar cream as well as toiletries.

Very clean room

Walls a bit thin, but it is an older, more retro hotel, so this is to be expected. The room size was generous with cable tv, well furnished, coffee maker, and sliding door to balcony. The bathroom was well lit. I personally loved the "Better Call Saul" vibe to the place. My room had a beautiful oceanview from the balcony. I have no problem recommending this clean, quaint, good value hotel. It is also central to all downtown Port Hardy. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

We didn’t have the breakfast because we left for the ferry at 6 AM. The power was off when we got there and stayed off until the next morning so that made it rather challenging.

They could’ve been a bit more prepared for a power outage with candles for the rooms although she did give us a small square light to carry

The carpets need to be replaced! Stairs, halls and at least remove the stains in the rooms. They bring the whole place down and that doesn’t need to be the case. The rooms are spacious and great location.

What this Inn might lack in updating it makes up in welcoming staff. I loved my stay and would definitely stay again!

We stayed for one night with an early ferry departure. Appreciated the location and wake-up call. Further, the staff was very friendly and efficient. Would stay again.

It's an older hotel, no elevator. However, there might have been some first floor rooms.

Great position and nice bright room with a lovely view of the harbour from the spacious balcony. Close to shops and restaurants and a very nice park.

Some maintenance is needed and the pillows were like bricks!

Great location, great view of the ocean from large balcony. The hotel is older so no elevator but it is kept very clean. Beds are a little too hard, imo. Very friendly staff! I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and large rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location across from waterfront is excellent.

Stairs....2 flights up with suitcases...no elevators or staff to help with luggage. No breakfast included.
