The room was clean and spacious enough. I like the comfy chair with footstool option and plenty of outlets and lighting options. it has a nice sized fridge, the bed was comfy and I appreciated the variety of choices for breakfast. I couldn't hear people in their rooms around. There is a seperate room for ice, vending machines and washer/dryer which is nice for noise protection.

I tried to go for a walk and couldn't go far without crossing path with just homeless people, everyone else drives and there is nothing to walk to anyways so it is just a place to rest/sleep. The windows are not soundproof enough and could hear outside conversation too clearly.

Hotel looks recently built. Rooms are modern and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Nice furnature and fixtures. Everything worked. The pool was nice. Lots of pool towels located on site. Pool had a fence all the way around with a nice high gate to keep kids from entering without adults. Hotel had a laundry facility, two ice machines and vending. The complimentary breakfast was nicely done. Nice variety of dairy, juice, fruits, cereals, breads, breakfast sandwiches, bisquits w/ gravy, boiled eggs, and waffles. Breakfast area had a good amount of seating and was very clean. Location was right off the highway. Lots of places to eat or shop nearby.

Not much to dislike. Our AC unit made strange noises when it kicked off-line My only other dislike welas the homeless people about a block down the road and police activity at the mercado.

The property was very clean. Very comfortable. The pool was fun to enjoy with the kids. Breakfast was good. I like that. They had biscuits and gravy and premade breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches. The only downfall was that breakfast was in such a small area other than that everything was great. The hotel is definitely not in the best part of Yakima, but we felt safe having a room in the back. also, what made me feel more secure is when I checked in the office stuff said that they don’t put up with the homeless people most of them have been trespassed from the property so most of them don’t even try to come on the property anymore. The office staff also did routine checks around the building in the parking lot to make sure everybody there belongs to there and there wasn’t any homeless people trying to hang out.

I’d say the only thing I did not like was the location in Yakima, but like I said previously the hotel doesn’t deal with the riffraff in the area.

I was traveling with a dog so I really liked the ease of access to outside, i assumed when booking it was an indoor hotel, so a door leading directly outside was an unexpected bonus Aside from that, location in relation to the freeway was great for my needs ( i was visiting for an event at SOZO) Also it was close to some really nice dog friendly restaurants

So i was traveling with a dog so the turf potty area was great yet i wish the property had grass nearby instead of rock landscaping so that my dog had other potty options when the turf potty area was full of other dogs This wouldn’t keep me from returning yet it would be something i like but i will make do with any surroundings for my dog.

Room was clean, hotel has been updated and looks attractive. Property was clean and free on any trash or homeless evidence. Everything was very clean.

Not an area for walking, and the homeless problem, while absent from the property, is all over several blocks away. Somehow, the hotel has kept a very clean, safe space, but not too many blocks and its different. The breakfast had some basic assortment of foods and pre-packaged bars, etc., but not a great variety. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. We'll take some food to supplement next time--we will be back, just not counting on breakfast to take care of us.

Room was clean, comfortable bed, good air/heat, breakfast was good. Nice TV. Great location near the highway.

I had asked for a main floor room because they didn't have an elevator (I have difficulty with stairs). I didn't get one. It looked well appointed, but I discovered that they didn't have a microwave in the room (I wanted to heat up leftovers for dinner) and the fridge didn't have a freezer ( so I couldn't refreeze my ice packs for my cooler). The K-cup coffee maker worked fine, but was not stocked with actual regular coffee, only decaf and tea. Disappointing as then I had to wait to have my coffee till I had breakfast in the lobby when I checked out. Usually there is a book with helpful information in it, but there was nothing in this room.

Wow! What a hidden gem! Best price in Yakima, sparkling clean newly renovated rooms and an awesome pool. I would absolutely stay there again.

Im a Yakima local. My air conditioning stopped working, and I needed a place to stay for a couple of nights. There was a lot of explaining and discussion about deposits and some hotels dont take locals etc. I just really could have done without all of that. I get they have had issues, but it made me feel a little unwelcome.

Older motel retrofitted and updated in 2018. Everything was in good shape, well maintained and clean. Staff was super-friendly and helpful. Breakfast was as good as NOT made-to-order breakfasts get. Nicely done.

I had to think really hard about what I did NOT like. There was no peanut butter for the waffles. The location had some occasional sketchy people but they did not bother us, nor us them. Could be that sketchy people are just everywhere. That is too bad.

parking was free, my pre-arrival requests were granted, good (and big!) tv with lots of tv channels, including HBO and TCM. fridge and microwave were quite useful! staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. thanks! looks to have been recently renovated, nice furnishings and comfy bed, clean.

no on-screen tv guide. had to use printed tv-channel list then individually go to each channel listing to find out what was showing. a bit time-consuming and frustrating, but it worked.

Honestly, with the price, we were expecting what we had been experiencing our whole trip…mediocre hotels. Which is okay, the point of our journey was our experiences. But the Hotel Y was a little oasis in that desert! A jewel, seriously! Everything was clean and nice, the staff was so helpful and friendly (something we’d grown accustomed to doing without), and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but I have a feeling that would have surprised us in a good way, too :)

We liked everything <3 I don’t know why you guys are so affordable, but I appreciate it!
