The location was perfect. Walking distance to the major site and the local restaurants. The most valuable highlight is that this location shares amenities with a hotel on the hill called hotel Europa. People staying at hotel Pelops could use the pool at hotel Europa, which was incredible on a hot day. Additionally, the staff at hotel Pelops was unbelievably hospitable. They made us a reservation for dinner at hotel Europa at what I would call probably the best restaurant in all of Greece. Another secret gem of this hotel is it’s history with the Olympics. The fact that actual Olympic torches are accessible to guests is nearly unbelievable. This hotel is very affordable for all of the value that you get, as well as the classic small town charm. I wouldn’t change anything.

I have no notes!

We had a four person room which ended up being more like a suite. There was a two person bed in one room and there was a second room with two twin beds. The room was comfortable for our group and was clean and quiet. The location was at the end of town, but it was within walking distance to the Olympia archaeological site. We enjoyed wandering around the shops on the main street at night when the street was closed.

The shower was a bit small, but I found that most showers in Greece were on the smaller side.

Nice size room - comfortable - access to balcony from two doors, though didn't use. Location good - 1 block off the main street, and easily walkable to the Archaeological Site. Had dinner at Europa Hotel - Tavern The Garden - have to drive up the hill, but it was spectacular - view and food! Owned by the same family.

Refrigerator was a little small, but, oh well... We didn't order the breakfast option, so we don't know how it was. But they do cooking classes too - so that could be a fun thing to check out.

Very comfortable and pleasant room. HUGE comfy bed. Nice common area although we did not use it. Large book exchange/library which is nice. Good recommendations about restaurants etc.

Overall clean but shower could have been cleaner. Manager was nice but not too communicative about breakfast so we did not end up having breakfast at the hotel (it was fine though, we didn't need it). Probably nicer in the high season, we were the only guests when we went in February.

Hotel was very conveniently located in the village of Ancient Olympia; we could easily walk to the ancient site, museums, and restaurants/cafes within minutes. We were also able to park on the street next to the hotel. The hotel had a "homey" feeling. There was a nice spread for breakfast, and the hotel staff made some recommendations for restaurants for dinner. Nice breakfast area. Room had a balcony and a view of the church square.

Heating/cooling seemed to be centrally controlled. We were there during a transition time, so it was a little warm at night.

The family that owns the hotel made our stay extra special. We felt like we were treated as honored guests. The living room and fireplace were magical! There was some bad weather coming in, so the owner approached us, asking where we were going next, as some routes wouldn't be safe due to snow/ice. We greatly appreciated his help.

The shower is very small, and there wasn't any hair soap/conditioner.

Quiet hotel in a nice location and a single room that had everything i need in order to work during the day (remotely) and was very comfortable as i was travelling with my 2 dogs. Never got strange looks because of that unlike a couple of shops in the area. Wifi was very stable and got good signal at least in the 1st floor where my room was. Great value for money especially considering i was there in the middle of a full season (August).

It would be a 10/10 stay if it wasn't for a cold shower i had to take after midnight on one of the days, as it seems there was not enough hot water for late at night. Could be a fluke, but had to be mentioned. Also nitpicking but if you need total darkness in order to sleep there aren't any windowblinds (only curtains) so bring a sleep mask.

Conveniently located to see Olympia. We enjoyed walking around the outdoor mall area and had absolutely the best dinner at an outdoor restaurant up the hill (not in town area). Can’t remember the name but it’s very popular and well known. Ask at the desk.

Minor but notable- the silly shower door was flimsy. Came off the runner easily. Not a big deal though. And we did have a nice breakfast but paid $10.00 each for it. It was convenient though.

Easy to park a car (Olympias doesn’t really care about parking on the streets), there’s a warm fireplace and a bookshelf near the breakfast zone, the staff is friendly and gives useful information about nice taverns nearby.

It’s next to a church, for unknown reason, its bells seem to ring in the oddest moments, from around 7:22 to 8:40 I remember they rang for about three times. Not exactly ideal if one is looking for a nice long sleep. Though technically all nearby hotels should have the same problem.

Rooms were very spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. The balcony in our room was well kept and brilliantly placed to catch the afternoon sun. The staff were lovely and very helpful in getting us a taxi to Pyrgos bus station for our departure date. The hotel was also away from the Main Street so you manage to avoid the noise and bustle of tour buses, cars and people.
