The guesthouse is a perfect place to stay to visit Olympia. One street up from the downtown center it provides an oasis of quiet but still just a three minute walk to restaurants, shops and all you need. Additionally, all the sites are within an easy walk so park the car in safe and accessible spots right in front of the hotel and you don’t need to bother with it again until you leave. A lovely breakfast every morning to start the day and you must try the very special hand crafted cocktails created with care at the bar. Some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. Great Wi-Fi. Overall a perfect experience.

The hotel is in a super location, only 5 min walking distance to all sights of ancient Olympia and various museums, slightly more quiet in 2nd row to main street of new Olympia and with parking options on the street directly in front of the hotel. The hotel chef Damiano greets the guests himself, is super friendy, helpful and full of good advice regarding sights, shops and restaurants. The best recommendation was the "Archimedes museum", a special discovery on technical developments in ancient Greece and very hands on presented for kids and adults alike - great fun and very interesting.

The breakfast was a little basic, little fruit, one type of muesli, simple bread, just boiled eggs. But all very clean, nicely presented and replenished over the morning.

What stood out and made our stay memorable was the hospitality of the host Damiano. He was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we arrived he offered assistance. His warmth and care added a personal touch that's increadibly rare and deeply appreciated. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Well located, close to important monuments. The included breakfast was a lovely touch, simple yet satisfying, with a reasonable selection and good coffee.

We had a mixed yet overall pleasant experience. The guest house has a certain vintage charm, although it's fair to say that the facilities could benefit from some renovation. The room we stayed in had a bathtub with a shower curtain and some visible wear on the walls, the toilet had issues flushing properly, which was a minor inconvenience. There was no window blind above the bed, with sunlight coming in quite early and disturbing light sleepers.

Upon our arrival, Damiano was very welcoming and friendly. He probably had the best English across the 6 properties we stayed at in Greece. It was very nice to be able to park directly in front of the building. We stayed in the suite as it was the only room available that night. It was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was certainly the smallest we had during our trip, but everything there was still very good. I think it's easy to get spoiled with the fancy cappuccino machines that most of the other properties had, so if I were to be picky I would say this property could use one.

The suite entrance is on the terrace, and the only lock for the room is the door at the top of the staircase. Once on the terrace, you enter the room without a key. While it seems ridiculous to be nervous of someone getting onto the roof (Spider-Man, as Damiano put it), there is still a certain peace of mind you get when the door to get inside is locked. This of course we would not have encountered if we could've stayed in a standard room, so it feels unfair for this to keep me from providing a perfect score.

The guesthouse is in a great location - short walking distance to the main attractions of the town such as the archaeological sites and museums of ancient Olympia, restaurants and the main street. Damiano is a fantastic host - he states this is his house and we are his guests, and he does everything in his power to ensure his guests feel at ease during their stay. He has a fantastic in-house bar with an amazing cocktail list (be careful though, he is generous with his alcohol!) and communal seating area with a modern industrial feel. He provides fantastic recommendations on where to eat, what to see and do in Olympia and what to see and do around Greece. His passion for his guesthouse goes a long way in setting it apart from other accommodations we have stayed at.

We stayed here at this great guesthouse one night with our dog. The owner was very friendly, helpful and spoke English well. He loved our sweet little dog. 😀They had a nice communal lounge area downstairs with couches, tables/chairs, and a bar with light food and drinks available. The room was nice and we had a balcony. The breakfast buffet in the morning was nice, and had a variety of choices . It was about a 7 minute walk to ancient Olympia and a block away from the Main Street in town with the tourist shopping and such. Oh there also was parking right in front of the property. I highly recommend this place!

No elevator, we had to go up one flight of stairs to get to our room.

Damiano was brilliant from the get go. Full of energy and information, charming and calming! Exactly what we needed as we arrived a little frazzled. His recommendations for the Grill House and Gyros was spot on ( best in Greece - honestly) Our room was really clean, tidy and quiet. Bed firm and comfortable. While it wasn't the largest - we have plenty of space in the downstairs bar and lounge area to chill out in - as well as the charming courtyard to enjoy a few drinks ( try Damianos cocktails!) Breakfast was plentiful and full of variety - exactly what was needed to face another day wandering ancient sites. Location is excellent - a very shot walk from great food and of course from the Olympian site. We wished we had booked two nights! There are a number of museums in town and they are all worth going to. Instructions and welcome was in depth.

I can't fault anything

The suite on the top is great and worth it! Great terrase with view over the town. Damiani (owner) welcomed us warmly and helped a lot. The location is at walking distances to all Olympia museums and site. Olympia is the best Archaelogical site and Museum complex in Greece (visited all). Have great parks in front of museum and site. The museum is very well organized with all needed. The site is plenty of artefacts and some of objects are under reconstruction. Modern Olympia town is very well organised with plenty of shops and restaurants.

No lift but Damiani helped.

Excellent location within walking distance to the archeological site, clean room and renovated bathroom was well designed with a great shower. Damiano was very helpful and suggested we visit the archeological site in the early evening to avoid the crowds the next day. We felt like we had the site to ourselves! The restaurant he recommended next door was very good and we even got to select the fish we wanted to have for dinner. Breakfast options were plentiful, with a wide variety of options. And parking was available right out front.

Nothing

My only complaint is that I planned an early morning 'get up and go' for my family... but when my alarm went off, there was rain pounding on the roof of our Infinity #8 Rooftop family suite, the beds were so comfy and warm, and the space was so comfortable... that I turned off my alarm, rolled over and fell back to sleep to the sound of rain on the roof. When we finally pulled the family from our beds (1 queen, 2 twin), we made our way downstairs, for a delicious breakfast of yogurt, fruits, breads, cheese, cereal- and of course, coffee. Our ambassador, Damiano, could not have been more helpful. He was waiting for us after a long journey and made checkin a breeze. We mentioned that we were hungry and tired, and he said he would take care of it. He got us into the taverna next door, even though they were booked for reservations that night, and we had a delicious feast to remember! This quick 1 night stay was a highlight of our entire Greek Adventure. We regret that we couldn't have stayed longer. Thank you, Damiano :)
