Gorgeous location and apartment overlooking blue bay beach and the ocean. Truly a “penthouse” type stay. The porch has a panoramic view. The patio windows slide back completely opening the living and kitchen area to outdoors. Kitchen is a little sparsely equipped if you plan to do much cooking tho we were able to make do. Also they only have a lavazza blue coffee maker that takes rare pods we couldn’t find at local grocery store but after you use complimentary 4 pods they charge $1 per pod. An alternative drip coffee maker would have been nice.

A huge negative for me was the hidden electricity charge they added on. Listing said nothing about this but when I arrived they made me sign an agreement stating that I had a limited amount of electricity for free. Anything over 50 kWh/day I would have to pay $0.50 / kWh. Despite being careful and leaving AC off in main living area entire time and only having on in our rooms when sleeping, we ended up going well over and owing almost $200 extra at end of our 6 day stay. So when comparing this location to others beware the hidden electrical bill! I mentioned my frustration with this and was told someone from management would contact me. No one ever did.

Modern bungalow with all the modern amenities! Very comfortable living space with a large pool across the road.

The distance from the beach was far ( maybe 20 mins walking distance). I wasn't aware of this so I advise renting a car ( which is what we did).

We were staying in a Deluxe bungalow, with 2 bedrooms and a living room. The apartment was really big, modern and minimal decoration with a large balcony facing the pool and the other side of the bay. The bedrooms have no windows but shelters which was the only drawback. Location is amazing, it's a small village with wonderful houses around the bay. The choices of restaurant is nice and we had good food. It's easy to reach by car (15mins from the airport)

Great location close to restaurants and main attractions. It felt safe with security patrolling and controlling who comes in and out. The beach is really nice. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and the restaurants are good.

Not a resort but more of a neighborhood. They don’t have laundry facilities (some rooms have them but ours didn’t and there was not public laundry) no ice machines or room service. Our room was in the “Garden” AC only in the bedrooms it gets really hot in the other sections and is very noisy we had a really hard time sleeping. I recommend this place but do your homework and understand the type of room you are renting I would go back but not to the same unit type. Also they have a nice beach inside the property but depending on your room location you need a car to get there.

Nive and safe place to stay. As the majority of beaches are outside the resort, the distance to the Blue Bay Beach was not an issue. I would stay again as the daily cleaning helps to keep the room in good conditions.

Light consumption was mention only in the check in, but I did not exceed. The kitchen was good with good silverware but lacks a good kitchens knife. Distance to the beach. During the morning go to the grocery store could be a problem, as It took 40 min to get inside back in the resort as due to some construction, the security check was taking too long.

The staff were incredibly helpful. My room was around 15 minutes walk from the beach but the staff would collect me in a golf cart if I didn’t feel like walking. The rooms were very clean and the bedroom had excellent AC. The kitchen was fully fitted and had a large fridge/freezer. The bed was very comfortable. The beach is excellent with many colourful fish for those that like to snorkel. I will definitely return.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. It would be useful if there was a small food store on site, but there are supermarkets fairly close by.

For our travel style, this resort had everything we wanted/needed. The multiple places to eat on property provided good variety and close enough to walk if you like. The unit we stayed in (2 bedroom in the Gardens) was plenty large and comfortable. Bed was comfortable meaning it wasn’t what some might call “Europe hard” and just soft enough to get good sleep for us. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Pool outside the room was big enough to lounge in. Staff at the front office was very friendly and helpful. Cleaning service was good. Beach was excellent for us with it being largely quiet with only light music coming from the bar area. Everyone at the beach was respectful of others (no loud music or voices). People just relaxing. Bar area and restaurant next door had plenty of options. We chose the breakfast option with our room and really enjoyed a relaxing breakfast on the beach each day. Unless you plan on staying solely on the resort during your stay, a rental car is a must. Markets are not too far away to get food. Car allows you to explore the island beaches and places to eat. Driving is easy on the island. We will definitely stay here again.

We didn’t enjoy downtown Willemstad that much as it’s mostly tourist shops and a few places to eat. Cruise boats flood the place when in port. Go out and enjoy the rest of the island.

We loved the whole 9 yards of it: great place, location, facilities, amazing garden, and beautiful beach (1 mile away from the Garden View apts though, so might need a car to get there); Roaming iguanas if you are lucky.

Stray? dogs swimming in the pool at 7 am and dog poop on the pool patio next day. Hotel said they had never seen them, which I respectfully kind of doubt - probably not much to do though given the village is so big. Mosquitoes at dusk can be a nightmare if you want to stay on your patio to rest after a tiring day driving around the island and swimming. Still, this resort was good value for money in early September, so I would go again.

Breakfast was good but should include a meat source

Cleaning service could have been a little more organized and in the villa was not properly stocked with utensils I ended up buying my own

Pros very nice upscale condo with new furnishings, modern kitchen. Loved the big tile and modern finishes. Security is very good. Beach easy access. I would def stay here again.

15-20 min from town, extremely hard finding our room after the check in facility closed. The security office wasn't helpful at all and we had never been to Blue Bay or Curacao. They did not explain anything at the front gate. Needs washer/dryer. You have to pay extra for electricity if you use more than what they suggest. We didnt use the air while we were gone during the day. It was always a little musty when the air had been off for several hours.
