The hours of the pool were excellent for guests with kids, we got in lots of pool time! Also, the breakfast hours were perfect! Some of us are not early risers, so a 10:00 deadline is a luxury!! The housekeeping and/or laundry ladies were awesome! They seemed very diligent in their rooms and they were very pleasant and accommodating.

The pool room was so hot the first two nights of our stay, the (AIR, not water temp.!!)thermometer was reading almost 100 degrees and the many ventilation vents were blowing out very hot hair. Some in my family were very nauseous after being in the hot tub and the heat of the room. I had to keep walking out to the hallway because I thought I would pass out. Extremely uncomfortable...and by the third night, the hot tub water was disgusting and brown. Positive note: The third night, the temperature was pretty comfortable!

Everything was clean, pool was great - kids are allowed in the hot tub so it’s not really hot (not a perk or con for us). The check in was the smoothest and quickest I have ever experienced & all of the staff was friendly. Breakfast was to be expected from a complimentary hotel breakfast!

Rooms very nice

Booking.com double booked us unbeknownst to me and charge my account twice leaving a negative balance, not happy with that. I only authorized 4 rooms and they booked 8. I only had itinerary number for 4 rooms so not using your company again.😡

I booked a king room with walk in shower if possible. Our room was a suite with a small kitchen, sofa, bedroom in a separate room and a wonderful walk in shower. I believe we got a free upgrade but the whole experience was outstanding. Breakfast was good and we will choose holiday inn express for our next adventure for sure.

Had to insert the keys multiple times to get them to work. My key blanked out but the gentleman at the desk fixed it without any problem. We really were very satisfied.

Staff very friendly and accomodating...special request to be placed next to elevator honored...cookies were great...pantry well stocked...plenty of luggage carts available...great location next to railroad depot...

Breakfast could be better with fresh eggs instead of processes 'omlettes'...mattresses do not support sitting on the bedside and do not support as well on the outside.

The Holiday Inn Express is very clean & cozy. It’s right in downtown Elkins with so much to see & do within walking distance. The breakfast bar was well appointed & stocked regularly. The staff were very nice & attentive.

We liked that the pool stayed open until 11 so the kids could swim, the staff we had contact with was very friendly and the breakfast was really good.

I didn't like that our bathroom wasn't very clean and there was two bugs in there. I also didn't like that people just walk in off the street to use the restroom and get food. (We were outside smoking and waiting for family to be ready to get breakfast and watched 2 people walk from a side street walk in and go to the restroom, we got our breakfast and the people walked out with food and went the same way they came from) so it doesn't feel very safe to me.

Nice amount of choices for breakfast. The cable TV went out first evening, but was fixed from front desk in timely manner.

No hot chocolate packets first day of stay. Some people don't drink tea or coffee like me.

Excellent and diligently monitored

Nothing was unsatisfactory except that the pool was under repair and not usable.
