Inn was located in the middle of Thomas and Davis which made it so convenient. We found the people of this community very friendly and helpful. The inn was kept very clean. They had a very nice picnic area with a fire pit which we used a couple of times.

There really wasn't anything that stands out except the last night we were there there was a lot of noise after 12:00. My husband went out and they had a lot of people checking in which we had one of the front rooms and it was not a good location. Sounded as if they were trying to come through our door, which they weren't.

Julie the manager was amazing! We had a mix up with booking.com sending reservation to wrong property but she handled it amazing. It eas my son's birthday and she really made his trip much better in how she handled it. The chalet was amazing. The hottub, fireplace, mattress and bed with so many pillows, the bathroom mirrors were awesome! Everything was in working order.

The breakfast is basically bagged sweets, and there are some bagels. Coffee milk and orange juice. No healthy options, so keep that in mind ahead of time. It's still a nice courtesy, but just be prepared if you have diet restrictions.

The room was super clean, and the location was exceptional. There is a convenience store across the road and an 18 hole mini golf course on the property. There were toiletries available in the room as well as a coffeemaker, microwave, and mini fridge. They have a grab n' go breakfast option and the staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I had. My family and I felt very comfortable and will be staying again when we return to the area.

The only thing that would have been helpful was a hair dryer in the room. If there was one, I didn't find it.

The location was excellent. The staff was friendly and the facility is very well organized, clean and easy to access. Everything is updated and beautiful. It is a small property but a great use of space everywhere. The mini-golf was not open because of the season but it was beautiful out front.

Continental breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Some cream cheese or peanut butter would have been nice for the bagels. Maybe a bit of fruit (bananna, apple, orange). It was just a little sparse. The coffee was good and plentiful 24/7.

Clean, comfortable-especially the bed—all as expected. And they even have grab and go breakfast items. They also have excellent Wi-fi (though hardly “secured” so have your own security app) and a full scope of cable channels (CNBC, which isn’t usually in basic).

Not a complaint really, but worth mentioning: I asked to reserve the room in person, was quoted a price, was told it was the only room left, then wound up booking online for a LOT less, and a better room. Maybe that’s just the way it is. Lesson learned.

Size of rooms. Mini golf on site was a bonus. Staff was nice.

Dishes were not clean in our kitchen unit. The advertised breakfast was very very limited...a bagel or cereal with chocolate milk...no regular milk available. While the lady from the front desk said she'd go to the store and get regular milk, it was not what we expected. What was anticipated for the cost of our included breakfast was something with a little protein...not a tiny bagel or cold cereal with no regular milk :( In our opinion it was not value for the money.

We had a great stay - very clean and comfortable room, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, and a very hot shower. The beds and bedding were quite comfortable, although the pillows were really thick and fluffy (just not our preference). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent for enjoying the area. We are hoping to make this family trip an annual tradition and plan to stay here again.

The suite was very nice! 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, and a small kitchenette! Everything was very clean and they provided things in the kitchen. It changed the way we travel from here on out! No more hotels, we will always look for something like The Inn at Canaan when booking!

We had genuinely zero complaints and will 10/10 recommend and most definitely be back!

I booked this last minute for a weekend getaway and was surprised to find that we got an entire apartment for the price of a regular hotel room elsewhere. It was clean and huge, very cozy, had everything we needed. Wish i could stay longer!

I was a bit disappointed by the breakfast tbh, I only had coffee in my room and skipped the food, there wasn't much to choose from just some toast and packaged sweet rolls.

Our stay was fabulous! The folks at the front desk was extremely helpful in directing us to Dolly Sods as well as other great attractions in the area. The additional stop to Lindy Point at Blackwater Falls was well worth the additional stop. The room exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable. The entire room looked newly remodeled. I had left an item in our room upon leaving. I called and Lizy said they will mail it to me. Becca was also a great help at the front desk. It was such a great experience all around I am looking forward to going back.
