The break fast was great with a variety of options including cereal, oatmeal, bacon and eggs, and pastries. Something for everyone. There were a variety of beverages too that anyone could want from orange juice to coffee and tea.

I felt the beds were too firm, but that is just my personal opinion. I like soft mattresses. I had a lot of trouble sleeping but I don't really blame the hotel. I always have trouble sleeping in new places. The comforter was very thick for summer and it had a bed sheet attached to it. I've never seen this before but it was hard to just pull the comforter back if too hot. I kept getting tangled up in the sheet.

Great location: walkable to Davis&Elkins College and Elkins centre. Good parking. Friendly staff happy to help out on reception. Comfortable room and comfortable bed. Good AC so I was snuggled in my bed during a heatwave. Good bathroom. Nice and spacious. Excellent breakfast buffet selection, including varied cooked choices. I got to try biscuits and gravy!

This is a great affordable option in a little town with various restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store. The hotel was clean and did not smell at all like smoke or marijuana. The staff were kind and knowledgeable. Breakfast was very nice with an attendant continuously filling items and cleaning up. We were very pleased and if in the area again, we will most certainly be repeat guests.

Whenever we go out of town, I love that the staff can direct you where to go eat and stuff to see. The new desk clerk and manger helped us navigate to our destination 😀, was very appreciative. Point being we don't eat at chain restaurants we can do those at home.

No negative just have to drive home and go back to work 🙃 lol.

The hotel was not fancy, but immaculately clean with a comfortable bed. Large bathroom, many choices on the tv. The staff was excellent. And the breakfast was exceptional compared to other hotels I've stayed in.

I heard that the hotel has been bought by a new owner and will be undergoing renovations. People like the breakfast and meeting area so I hope they will leave it alone. Pray it does not become another square, grey, boring hotel that millennials seem to love.

It was just a great 3 day stay. Very impressed. Nice clean and modern. Super location and breakfast. All interactions with employees were very nice!

The only thing I could possibly say is the location was on a busy road, sometimes took a while to get out of lot.

The breakfast was excellent, and the room was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Check out was easy and so was check in.

There was blood stains on the sheets of the first queen bed. The second queen bed in the room was fine. The room above us the people were very noisy, and the people beside us were slamming doors. Made it very hard to fall to sleep.

the beds were nice and soft. never enough pillows though. but that's why we bring our own. service was great. daughter loved having Wi-Fi. room was nice and comfortable. overall great experience. would definitely stay again.

breakfast not so much, it was basic fast-food breakfast high in carb, not diabetic friendly. coffee was great. juice was watered down. overall, not a fan of fast-food breakfast. would be great for someone with a big family and lots of kids.

There was nothing we did not like about this hotel. We travel quite a bit in the US and Europe, and this was by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We travel alot between va and ky, and usually like to spend the night half-way. This will definitely be our hotel of choice. Highly recommend this hotel. Hot breakfast was great. Loved everything about this hote.

Quick story. We came to Elkins WV for an impromptu wedding for our son and his fiancé because of a severe family medical situation. One thing after another seem to go wrong with the information that was given at the courthouse and the wedding almost didn’t happen. The hotel staff went over and above to help, specifically Mrs. Elaine Douglas and Mr. Chip Friddle, by calling everyone they could think of to help. Mr Chip ended up contacting an old friend that is a minister. Mr Bobby Benavides agreed to help out because of the situation. Mrs Douglas offered the awesome lobby for the ceremony because of the weather and the wedding happened after all with the help of Mrs Liz Simmons. No words can express how greatful our family is for this generosity. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable but the staff made everything exceptional. Thank you again.
