Clean, modern apartment, with widscreen TV and apps. Friendly receptionists, even though language was a bit of a challenge for a non-French speaker. Neighbourhood seemed relatively safe.

Was a bit more expensive than I had planned. Not a whole lot of anything within walking distance, and a fairly long taxi ride to most attractions. General observation (not related to accommodation) is the crazy distance from "Dakar" airport to the city. The airport is in the middle of nowhere, basically closer to several other cities - about 1 hour journey without traffic, and taxi drivers really milk it for minimum 20000+ XOF (they will even push for 25000 or 30000).

Mr. Dia went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was always willing to organise anything we needed and assist us throughout our stay. The staff were all incredibly lovely and friendly. The apartment was cleaned daily, which we really appreciated. My dad uses a wheelchair, so having a spacious and accessible apartment was essential and this place was perfect for that. The neighbourhood is beautiful, with a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet still conveniently close to shops and restaurants.

The staff led by Mr Dia was welcoming and very professional. The apartment was spotless with hot water, very comfortable beds, a modern kitchen and all the amenities of modern day accommodation. The location is central with banking, super markets and beaches nearby - within walking distance should one wish to walk and enjoy the sights of Dakar. Bravo Marina Appart Hôtel ! Just minor issues in the kitchen with many small ants crawling on the counter. Nothing that a professional and experienced exterminator can't handle.

Excellent service overall - cleanliness, security, outbound airport transfer, food etc. Impressive ambience, home away from home; just as-is in the pictures. Thanks DIA and wife for being fantastic hosts, your facility was quite neat and beautiful. Many thanks for your resourcefulness, always going the extra mile, that made a non-french speaker and first time visitor like me comfortable. Big up to Sane (go to front desk guy) !!! Despite limited English, he was always willing to help and went above and beyond. Thanks Sane for the job you did to make my stay enjoyable .

Not about the apartment but significant language barrier for non French or Wolof speakers.

New apartment house, just like on the photos. Very clean! Safe building, and also has a guard 24/7, but the neighborhood is good. We have never felt unsafe on the street, walking out to the main street to get a taxi. Excellent staff, very kind and helpful. We had an issue with one of the windows - they have fixed it in 30 minutes. Our apartment was quiet, too, we slept well. We had a wonderful stay, and would be happy to be back!

Taxi drivers don't know the place and generally cannot read maps, so just tell You want to go to: "Liberte2" - you will see the apartment building from far. Taxi cars are old, but we did not feel unsafe in them. It is a good way of getting around, and all the drivers are very nice - just make sure You bargain about the price before getting in!

The staff and management were amazing. Very welcoming and ready to help when needed. The security was always present and helped with taxis and loading luggage. The whole building was spotless and well taken care of. I had a refrigerator issue that was taken care of quickly.

The only thing I can say that could use some help is the dinners. There is no menu so you get what you get. Breakfast was very good and the coffee and juice were very good.

Great and clean property with very good amenities

Limited parking space and may be too expensive for the area— but kinda aligned with the general cost of living in Dakar which has gotten completely out of control for no apparent reason

This hotel has to be the best value in Dakar. It wasn’t just a hotel room. It was a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. It was amazing. The service was incredible. For the price there is absolutely no way you can beat this place.

Great stay, close to HLM. Hotel is clean and is as pictured. It has 24-hour security and other security measures in place. Water is hot for showers.

The doors to enter the apartments are hard to work/figure out. But no big deal. I did see one roach in the bathroom.

I liked the space, the kitchen facilities especially, the cleanliness and the lift was very smooth.
